Such a relaxing stay at Lizzie’s place. The place is gorgeous and well thought out. It was lovely being able to travel with our furbaby, and even having a water dish supplied for her was lovely! Was also such a beautiful touch finding almond croissants at the door after a busy day exploring! Thank you very much. We highly recommend to anyone looking at visiting Castlemaine and will definitely be back.

Betty & John couldn’t have been more accommodating! From an Easter basket to breakfast & buggy trips back up the hill when we had finished our day at the wineries. The house was perfect for our girls weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had such a relaxing stay at Yandoit Creek Farm. The home was cozy, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed—from a crackling fireplace to a well-stocked kitchen. The sourdough Fiona prepared for us was absolutely delicious! It took me a little while to get used to the composting toilet, but it really makes sense—they use the compost for plants, and it’s a smart way to save water in such a dry area. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, with kangaroos and parrots right near the house, and just a short drive to the town centre. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. Highly recommended!

The School House provided a perfect opportunity for our short visit. Jennifer’s eye for detail and supply of breakfast provisions made for an extra pleasant stay.

Well appointed, toasty warm and beautifully styled. Great to be able to bring our dog but surrounds not fenced so not quite as relaxing as it could have been. Delish dinner and granola, thanks Warren. Snow on our last day was magical. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We had a lovely stay at Vicki and Trevor's. The shed is spacious, well-equipped and full of interest. But the highlight was the property - right out the bedroom door is a beautiful hilly view of the farm, complete with a small table for your morning coffee. Vicki and Trevor were also kind enough to give me some panadol when I was feeling unwell. Highly recommend!

We could not have asked for a better getaway experience. Bronwyn’s Alpaca shed is in the most peaceful and serene countryside. The cottage is very simple and rustic but we had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The alpacas are gorgeous and we loved our twice daily check in from Merlin the friendly and curious poodle. At night the skies are incredibly clear with an expanse of sparkling stars and a nighttime lullaby of frogs croaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a break from city life or wanting to reconnect with nature. We appreciated the thoughtful gift of Easter eggs, fresh coffee and limes for the obligatory G&T. Thankyou again Bronwyn, we hope to be back another time.

The Stables was the perfect intimate long weekend getaway. It was cosy, comfortable and attention to detail was everywhere, including a charcuterie board on arrival. Every need was catered for by Amy and Michael and we couldn't have felt more welcome or pampered. Thank you for making our weekend so special.

We enjoyed our 1st visit to Basil's Folly so much we returned a few weeks later and stayed longer. The warm hosts have done a terrific job creating the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Southern Highlands countryside. Our next visit is already booked!

We had a gorgeous three night getaway at Beth’s place. The barn is exquisitely styled and there were some lovely touches including a chilled bottle of rose and local honey. Beth gave us two fabulous dinner recommendations; Bruno’s was an absolute standout. Great to be in walking distance to Bellingen’s beautiful cafes, shops and restaurants. Thanks Beth!

Our family had a most beautiful stay and it was so peaceful. We particularly loved sitting on the front verandah, sipping tea, playing games and just watching the cows and sheep - they made our day. Ingrid, you and Grant were fantastic hosts and we thank you for making our few days a time to remember. There are so many beautiful walks to do and we hope to return again one day.

Emma's place was lovely! It's quiet, peaceful and private with beautiful surroundings and cute animals; the donkeys are very friendly and the tennis court is a great touch too. Would come here again!

Very unique place to stay! Very close to bangalow which was excellent. Host were very generous with extra towels and essentials which made the stay a breeze and nice to have extra touches. I would have loved more natural light but I get it adds to the ‘mood’ of the place but it is very dark. Just note the doors exiting and entering are very heavy to move and you do need to use body weight to open them, so for some they may be a challenge. Overall great stay thank you!

Alex’s place was an amazing little getaway for us. It was peaceful, well equipped and actually more spacious than the photos do it justice! Early check in and late check out was an unreal surprise. Only a short drive away from Moss Vale and some great wineries and lunch spots.

We had a very good 3 night stay. The accommodation was well set up and exceptionally clean with generous supplies. Comfortable king sized bed with nice linen and blackout blinds ( apart from little triangular window at very top ) Sue met us upon arrival to show us the unit then completely respected our privacy.

Liza’s place was great. I got married down the road at Cave Hill Creek & got ready there with my bridal party. Heaps of natural light & took beautiful getting ready photos.

Exceptional stay! I can’t say enough good things about The Dairy. What an extraordinary place. Beautiful, peaceful, serene…..we loved it. The bedrooms are comfortable, the living area open (literally the doors open all the way to the outside!) and the bathroom is truly a work of art (my daughter referred to her bath there as a “spiritual experience.” Ha!). It really is something to behold. And the location on the macadamia farm is so green and lush and quiet, despite being only a few minutes drive from the busy beaches of Lennox Head and Byron. We didn’t want to leave. And Julie was a delight to work with from start to finish: full of recommendations, easy to reach, quick to respond….a wonderful host. You won’t regret staying here. Glenmore Springs is the perfect location for exploring the King Valley, surrounded by different options for bush walks, wineries and spots for swimming in the river. Also just the most peaceful place to sit and enjoy the country side, with beautiful views of the farm and the river just 3 mins walk from the accomodation. Excellent hosts. Thank you. Will be back again.

Patsy was a lovely host. The location of the house was great, close to town centre but with beautiful surrounding nature.

What an enchanting experience we had staying at Zoe's Watershed Barn in Roberston. It was just beautiful, with an open fire outside under which to look at the stars - of which there are so many in the night country skies! The accommodation has everything you need for a cosy night in and the kitchen was great and easy to work in. Zoe kindly provided some fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was very thoughtful. The loft bedroom under bud lights was magic at the end of the day and was so comfortable and peaceful. We loved the windows in the ceiling. Close to the village of Robertson which has wonderful restaurants/cafes like Moonacres and Roberston pub as well as Bowral with its diverse array of retail shopping. Spoilt for choice with wineries all around and not to miss the nature walk offered at the Illawarra Fly. We wanted to stay longer and will be back! Thank you so much Zoe! Best, Tash
