Welcome to the Cottage on the Farm! Enjoy the parklike setting that features a live pond, above ground pool, and is host to wildlife including over 40 species of birds. Speedy WiFi lets you work away from home or stream movies on your device. Stay at the Cottage and relax or explore the many attractions in our area. The spacious home offers four separate sleeping spaces: three bedrooms, plus media room with a full-size pull out sofa bed; three and a half bathrooms, with updated, modern decor and amenities. The house is located on a beautiful private parcel surrounded by trees and bordered by a peaceful waterway hiking trail.

Glenbrook House is centrally located, 5 min to Nevada City or Grass Valley. It has epic sunset views, ample parking, a spacious interior with open floor plan, kitchen island and hardwood floors throughout. 55” Smart TV in living room, and 45” TV in master bedroom. Private office and high speed internet offers distance work/school and fold out couch. Private deck with seating for 6 overlooking the pond and a private gazebo. Gate to irrigation canal offers leisurely strolls to a waterfall.

Walk out the door and you are in downtown Nevada City with its wonderful array of cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. Within a few minutes' drive are numerous hiking trails and river swimming holes, and everywhere the beautiful natural surroundings of the foothills of the Sierra Mountains.

You’ll love my place because it's a 1,000 sq ft. house with charming details (wood fireplace, deep soaker tub) in a beautiful forested acreage with easy 3/4 mile access to I-80, at 3,500’ elevation. Kids and Dog friendly!

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.

Pioneer Trail crosses the driveway - bike or hike right from your private guest quarters! Property is backed by USFS land, Scott's Flat Reservoir nearby. Pets allowed (must be house-trained and friendly, 2 maximum without pre-approval.) Everyone welcome, LGBTQ+ friendly

Enjoy our comfortable one bedroom log cabin (King bed), with kitchenette, patio with waterfall and private hot tub. 3.5 mi. from the Yuba River with many deep pools, and huge warm boulders. 3 mi. from downtown Nevada City, live theatre, music, art, fine dining and boutique shopping. There is spotty cell service, but you can text via wifi. If you need a fast strong connection please consider that this may not be the place for you.
