Michael Angelos cabin was just breathtaking!! the cabin was spotless on arrival, everything was so clearly labelled with instructions, there was a binder with all the information you could possibly need while staying there too! the views were just gorgeous from every window and the jacuzzi was perfect for every evening. And what a host Michael Angelo was, one of the days we had locked ourselves out of the cabin and within a matter of minutes he had let us in. Thank you so much for such a perfect weekend away. We will definitely be coming back here to enjoy the cabin in winter!

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und die Lage sehr ruhig und perfekt für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Das Haus war genau das, was wir wollten. Die Küche ist ausserordentlich gut ausgerüstet. Es hat einen Pelletsgrill und einen Kugelgrill. Es hat Esstische im Haus und im Freien. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit den Feuerstellen sehr gemütlich. Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt.

Hytta var moderne og komfortabel. Vertinnen var svært hyggelig og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Veldig fint sted. Vi hadde et flott opphold og alle var veldig fornøyde. Sengeplass til alle og veldig enkelt å låse seg inn og ut. Topp sted.

I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

Logement très agréable avec une localisation idéal à proximité du lac. Logement très fonctionnel avec de nombreux équipement. Les hôtes très accueillants et réactifs. Je recommande vivement cet hôte et ce logement qui satisferont vos attentes

Merci à Lars et Per pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil dans ce logement situé dans un environnement magnifique au bord du lac avec de très nombreuses installations à l'extérieur pour en profiter et se détendre.

Superkoselig hytte, rent og veldig fint at det er så nærme Oslo!

Der Charme der Sommeridylle hat uns sofort begeistert. Auf der autofreien Insel, mit tollem Ausblick und nah an einer Badestelle mit schönen Schlafzimmern und einem hellen Wohnzimmer kann man sich sofort wohl fühlen und einen erholsamen Urlaub genießen. Ein echtes Schmuckstück!

Ich habe 11 wunderschöne und erholsame Tage in dieser stilvollen Hütte verbracht. Ich habe einen Wander- und Erholungsurlaub gemacht – dafür ist die Lage einfach perfekt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Supermärkte sind in der Nähe, und wir hatten ein Auto angemietet, was alles noch bequemer gemacht hat. Selbst wenn man nicht rausgeht, lädt die Hütte mit ihrer gemütlichen Atmosphäre und der sonnigen Terrasse zum Verweilen ein. Highlight: Man kann den Sonnenaufgang direkt von der Terrasse beobachten - traumhaft! Wir waren Anfang April da und hatten großes Glück mit dem Wetter – an einem Tag sogar 18 Grad und purer Sonnenschein! Diesen Tag haben wir komplett auf der Terrasse genossen. Der Host/ das Team sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und antworten unfassbar schnell. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll, hell und sehr geschmackvoll – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen! Auch mein Freund war begeistert. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit

Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit Blick auf den Oslofjord. Der Kontakt war sehr nett, es wurde immer sehr schnell und hilfreich geantwortet.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le chalet est super confortable et très bien équipé. Il se situe dans un endroit verdoyant et très calme. Un vrai havre de paix. Bernt et Vanja ont été très aimables et attentionnés avec nous. Beaucoup de gentillesse à notre égard. Pour visiter Oslo en voiture, c'est l'idéal. Vous pouvez y aller kes yeux fermés !

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

The view from the cabin was marvelous, the kitchen had everything you needed, the beds and sheets very comfortable, the cabin very clean .It is much more impressive in reality than in the pictures. The host was very responsive and was very easy to communicate with. Very much recommended!❤️

Richtig schöne, gemütliche Hütte mit einer großen Terrasse und einer tollen Aussicht. Die Fotos sprechen für sich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Astrid war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

El lugar y la cabaña son espectaculares, mucha paz y tranquilidad, un trato excelente por parte de Kari y muy rápida en sus respuestas.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de knusse hut van Sverre, heerlijk rustig, prachtige natuur, lekker gewandeld zo uit de voordeur en fijn dat we het hout mochten gebruiken.

Hjemmekoselig hytte med stor fin hage. Har alt du trenger og generøst utstyrt på kjøkken så du slipper å ha med krydder o.l. Fine tur områder rett utenfor hytta, stille og pent sted.

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

Jeg hadde fantastiske 8 dager på hytta til Svein for å klippe film. Hytta er en perle, vakkert innredet og godt utstyrt, med peis, arbeidsrom, koselig kjøkken og god seng, for ikke å snakke om de mange vakre uteplassene. 3 minutter til sjøen, rikt fugle og dyreliv, og strålende turterreng. Jeg kommer igjen! Anbefales på det varmeste!

This was our second stay in the cabin so it was as good as we’d experienced before.
