Old City Quarter Miners Cottage

Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.

Spacious, peaceful 1250 sq ft. upper totally self contained suite. The crystal clear Nanaimo river at your doorstep. Spacious kitchen is ready for the family chef but if you don’t feel like cooking the neighborhood offers a variety of pubs and restaurants. Many trails close by for walking or jogging. This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great solo or couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.
