Junglo Bunglo

Authentic Hawaii experience in a jungle hale that connects you to nature in a magical, isolated, and old area of Puna. This guest house is born from our inspiration and hands, and is well equipped for an off-grid (water+power provided by nature) farm life. We are close to the ocean, about 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. The Cottages At Volcano - Hale Alala

Surrounded by the rainforest of Volcano and situated just outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our cozy cottage offers a welcoming place for some rest and relaxation between adventures. Hale 'Alalā is named after the highly endangered hawaiian crow whose reintroduction efforts have been focused on the forests around Volcano. While there are no longer any Alalā living in the wild, you can see a pair of live Alalā just down the road at the Panaewa Zoo (free admission).

This two bedroom cedar cabin is minutes away from the Volcano National Park Entrance. It is quiet, cozy and nicely self contained for a comfortable and relaxing stay. At an elevation of approximately 4,000 feet nestled in the Volcano Village forest, our cabin welcomes you. Amenities include a newly renovated kitchen, barbecue, wall heaters, fireplace, bath robes, laundry, free wifi, and cable TV. Within minutes drive or 10 minute walk to general store and two cafes.
