This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Welcome to Slug Trail Ranch, and our newly built self contained suite. We are a quiet, serene rural location in west Courtenay, close to downtown. Located on 5 acres of land close to all amenities the Comox Valley has to offer. Come say "hello" to our horses, chickens and friendly dogs. Well behaved pets are welcome with prior approval and a $15/ night per pet cleaning fee. Come say "howdy". Happy hour is 5pm, weather permitting.
