If you are looking for a peaceful, calming stay for a great price, this is the one! Louis was an amazing host that was very responsive to any question that we had during our stay which made everything seamless! The hot tub is a MUST on the cool evenings & is what drew me to this Airbnb and it delivered! My fiancée & I loved it and found the stay very calming with plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area ☺️

When they set up this place they really thought about everything it was the first Airbnb that I’ve been to that they have everything Tylenol, Q-tops, hair ties, they even had water, soda and snacks. it was nicely decorated and very peaceful the hot tub was definitely a nice feature to have. We’ll definitely return.

If you're looking for a cabin that feels like home this is it. The cabin was very clean and appeared just like it did in the photos provided. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms have heated floors which is very amazing. The host was very helpful and responded quickly. I definitely recommend this cabin.

We came for peace and quiet to celebrate my birthday. It was a beautiful cabin and everything was as described. Natasha’s cabin stay was even better than expected. The photos don’t do justice as to how beautiful and spacious it is! All of the furniture and decor make you feel cozy and right at home. Being surrounded by lots of nature, great food and activities made for the perfect birthday weekend. So looking forward to the next time!!

Our stay in this little piece of paradise was so peaceful and serene. The gorgeous view of the river, the sounds of nature around us, the privacy, the incredible amount of work they put into this cabin after the devastation of a flood of the century was simply stunning. We wished we could’ve stayed longer and will come back here again. Friends and family will definitely hear about this place and it will come highly recommended. This place was very well kept, clean, comfortable and has plenty of opportunities for adventure. Kim was very responsive and very helpful with suggestions and making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Our stay was wonderful. There was so much to do in the area that we were always kept busy, it was nice to have a place that felt like home to go back to. We loved that it was pet friendly and can’t wait to go back with the pets!

Very nice cabin and clean. If being the only one on the top of a mountain is your thing, this is it. Alison was great. Views were amazing. Like her directions clearly say some folks find it difficult to find at night. When it’s 2am after seeing Metallica at VA Tech it was not fun trying ato find it. Expect multiple deer, rabbits and raccoons at the very least!

The Chicken Coop Cabin was very comfortable. Brenda really thought of everything and even supplied some great snacks! The bed was super comfortable. I hope to come to the area again and hopefully get to ride some of the awesome bike trails.

We had a wonderful stay at Husky Hideaway! Our kids and dogs loved playing outside while we relaxed on the porch. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved having their own space in the loft! The home is in a great location that feels private but safe and is just a short trip to so many fun activities and restaurants. This is a great place for a relaxing family retreat.

We had an excellent time at this place. The cabin is extremely private and quiet and our pups had a wonderful time.

We stayed a couple days in the mountain cabin. Cabin was comfortable with everything you would need. It has breathtaking views and was very peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the fields and mountains. It is very close to Grayson Highlands for hiking and searching for waterfalls. Made a donation to their non profit to have a tour of the farm of rescued animals. Thank you Connie. You can see their passion and love for the animals and what they are doing. For a wonderful stay near the park and in addition your stay can help support their mission, this is an excellent opportunity for a beautiful vacation.

What a peaceful escape! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly tucked away in a beautiful, secluded spot. The gentle sound of the creek made for the most calming backdrop, like nature’s lullaby. We loved spending evenings by the bonfire and relaxing in the hammock, listening to the birds. Even our cat seemed totally at ease, exploring and soaking it all in. The hosts were so kind and quick to respond to any questions. Everything about our stay felt easy and special—we couldn’t have asked for more. Would absolutely come back!

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented anywhere. The house is as promised, spotless, and well appointed. You will not run out of plates, glasses, or forks for once. I had a question, Trisha got right back to me. Only a few minutes to Beech skiing. Please be good to this house and these owners, they are sincere and dedicated and have a beautiful home. We’ll be back, it was so good to have this time with our (almost grown) kids!

We had a great stay and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. Convenient location to restaurants and activities while also providing privacy. The cabins were cozy and charming and had just what we needed. Most importantly, the pups loved exploring and had a great time too!

Cute quite little cabin in a golf course community. Just as described. Perfect for our stay to see the Brown mtn lights. We plan on staying again in Oct because we loved it so much.

The cabin was perfect for our quick get-away! The view from the cabin is beautiful. The cabin was ready before the 3pm check-in time, which was great since we were in town early. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

I took my girlfriend to stay at the Cabin by the River, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience from day one till the day we left, total 5 days. From brunch/dinner on the river, to s’mores and drinks by the fire, there was never a moment we weren’t thankful to not have cel service. The property itself is a stunner, from the river to the mountainous feel of the surroundings, it felt like we were a million miles from everything that never mattered. And, that matters. The cabin itself is like stepping back into a time capsule, with lots to look at, explore and ponder if that’s your thing. And also, it’s well stocked. We went to the store once at the beginning, and got all the basics for our food needs, but the cabin had everything we needed to get our meals prepared and served perfectly. Never had to leave the property again. Why would you? But, the peaceful feeling that comes with staying here is truly special, and was very needed. We’re taking that with us:) So grateful.
