Beautiful place with lots of different types of spaces to hang out in! Great set-up that it allowed individual privacy while still having larger group areas. Very minor inconvenience but the wifi didn't reach to the bottom floor. Kitchen had all the basic necessities and was great for group cooking and meals.

This house and Niki were both fantastic. Even without the pool in the backyard it would have been perfect for our reunion gathering; with the pool, and the long table for outdoor meals, it was beyond our expectations. Communication with Niki was easy, timely, and super-clear. Fun, even. Our group has no complaints and nothing but praise. If you want your small-to-medium sized group to gather together in the South Orange area, this place is for you!

We were in town for my daughter's 21st birthday. She attends Centenary University. Heline's home was everything as advertised and better. We had 6 guest and plenty of room. Rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Kitchen had everything we would ever need. The family room downstairs was great; plenty of games, and a dart board, which for us, we had 4 folks who love darts, so it was great. There were several restaurants within a short 5 minute drive, and even a few bars. We had a great time, and are planning to stay again next time we visit. We would all highly recommend Heline's place if you are ever in Hackettstown!

Angela was phenomenal. She went all out to check up on me and make sure everything I needed was catered for. Her place is beautiful and very organized. I will definitely book her again. I highly recommend her place to anyone. Thanks again, Angela!

I cannot say enough positive things about Jake's beautiful Mendham farmhouse. My family and I spent the weekend there for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and we could not have asked for anything more. Jake is so friendly and communicative. He is easygoing and responsive and made us feel very welcome. The house is stunning - charming and rustic with beautiful modern upgrades and plenty of room to spread out. We did not want to leave and hope to book with Jake again in the near future.

Lisa was an amazing host! She did her best to accommodate my family, and then some! The house felt like home. It was a great experience!

My family and I stayed for the weekend while in town for a wedding. House was spacious and just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. We all loved staying and wished we were able to stay for longer. There were zero issues. Check in went smoothly. Our teenagers loved the ping pong table, pool table and the space loft!

Vanessa's home was perfect for what we needed on our trip. It was cozy, spacious and my family was able to gather around the dinning room table to do a puzzle. Vanessa was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. We look forward to returning in the future!

Anna was wonderful! She was always available whenever we needed to reach out and answered all our questions promptly. She also accommodated my special request to avoid using anything with fragrances before our arrival, which I truly appreciated. The house was impeccably clean and dust-free a huge plus for us due to our allergies. It felt incredibly cozy, and my husband and I especially loved sipping our morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful view, even while being snowed in. We also appreciated the extra pillows, blankets, bedding, towels, and paper towels everything was well stocked for a party of four. We would love to come back in the summertime!

It was good nothing to complain about

Words cannot describe how much of a blessing it was for us to have found Phil & Terri’s place. We needed a medium term stay in Hackettstown across the winter holidays from overseas and it’s slim pickings around the area. It’s definitely country region and one of a few different dwellings on a private farmstead. One above and attached, and two other small independent units. You are surrounded by beautiful farmland and the views are amazing. Kids loved playing around the little pond, used the stocked bonfire pit, explored the tractors, diggers, and wagons scattered around the acreage. The place was stocked with the living essentials, spare travel toiletries, plenty of coffee and fixings, spices for cooking, and a super modern appliances, washer and dryer. Comfy beds and baths. The high speed internet and Amazon Firestick TVs are super helpful. Not great phone signal but totally fine on WiFi calling or VoIP. They are super hosts. We will definitely be back. And it was just amazing!!!!

Another amazing stay! This was my second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The place is always spotless, comfortable, and feels like a home away from home. The host goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect - from the thoughtful touches to quick communication. I genuinely appreciate the consistency and care they put into hosting. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting and the spacious, charming house filled with lots of plants—it felt so cozy and welcoming. The private lake was absolutely awesome, and we can only imagine how great it would be to visit during the summer. Zaan was a very helpful and responsive host, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway in a stunning location!

Kate’s place was the perfect house for us to take a 2 week trip over the holidays. The house was stocked with everything we needed & more. Kate was kind & communicative and very helpful with our check-in process and stay. Would highly recommend!

I enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The neighborhood was quiet. Upon arrival we were greeted by Drew, a nice gentleman that showed us the house and answered any questions we had. The house had plenty of room and the view of the lake was nice and relaxing. The amenities provided were more than what was needed. Having breakfast items in the refrigerator was helpful after a long drive and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area.

Berenice's house is lovely, and the lake view is beautiful. The entire place was clean, enough even for discerning family members. It snowed throughout our stay, which made the trek from the parking space down to the house a bit tedious, but a shovel and salt was provided for us to clean off the steps that stretch the entire way down the hill. This walkway was explained to us ahead of time, and it was helpful to have the heads up. One thing to note: make sure to bring your own toiletries (toilet paper, hand soap, detergent, etc.) since these are not provided at the house.

We had a wonderful weekend at James’s house! The house was perfect for two families with young children— one family could stay on each floor without crying babies bothering each other. It was a treat to have so many different seating areas to choose from. The yard is absolutely stunning and our dog was in heaven. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Marc made all aspects of our stay easy. He was very responsive when we woke up after our first night to six inches of snow on the ground. He had the driveway plowed before we wanted to leave. House is located on a very nice piece of property nestled in the woods. The driveway leading to the house is a bit steep, however we had no trouble navigating to the house. Marc really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and we thank him for that!

Very spacious house with unique amenities. It was the perfect spot for my family to stay at when we attended a wedding at Perona Farms nearby.

We had a lovely short stay at Amber’s lake house. The area was quiet and peaceful with ducks and geese swimming across the lake and in warmer weather could definitely see enjoying swimming or kayaking by the dock. It was chillier weather for us but we still enjoyed fishing by the dock just for fun and sitting by the big windows with a coffee overlooking the water. The home itself was comfortable and clean. My kids enjoyed sleeping on the bunk beds and there was plenty of room for family to spend time together or find their own cozy corner to relax. Amber was a responsive host and we appreciated this quick getaway.

Renee was a great host. Check in was easy, the garage and doors were easy to use, Renee was responsive to all of our questions and the house comfortably slept our family of 2 adults, 3 kids and a baby. There are a ton of amenities like a wine fridge and smart TV that meant we could have a chilled glass of red while the kids found their favorite shows. The house is beautiful and sits on a scenic hillside in South Orange. It’s easy to walk up the hill and see panoramas of NYC. We loved walking to get bagels with our kids or grabbing pizza from one of the many great spots nearby. The streets are also great for running with wide running lanes and challenging hills. We had such a great time spending most of July here.

John was a great host! Friendly and super responsive! The house was just as described and pristine condition.

When I first looked for a house, I was adamant about a house in the Poconos. Fortunately, we had no luck finding a house that fit our needs within the Poconos; which in reality, ended up being a blessing in disguise as we discovered this hidden jewel of a house. It fit all of our needs, and it was a shorter drive than traveling all the way to Pennsylvania from New York City. Before we arrived to the house, Liz made sure we were taken care of before our arrival. She had a very nice response time and answered our tedious questions with patience and care. When we arrived to the house, from the outside it wasn't as jaw-dropping as we expected; which did not matter due to the affordability of the house for a group of six. But the moment we entered our house, we were mesmerized at the rustic beauty within the inside the house. From the vinyl player which took you back to an era of quiescent enjoyment to the guitar and piano to enjoy on the poach with layers of green listening to every note you play, is the moment you realize this is the lake-house you secretly wished your grandparents owned. There were enough pots and pans and spices to get cooking a large family dinner, and enough space to enjoy some light dancing. The tv and game room is a nice touch, and the two bathrooms helped out whenever we were rushing to our adventures. There is no AC within the house, but instead there is a whole house fan. The house fan brought enough cool air I had to end up turning off the fan in the middle of the night from freezing, which is definitely a great thing if you want to beat the summer heat. The private dock was great, shallow enough to enjoy playing football in the water, although I would be careful to do so near the shoreline as there are rocks. The floaties are a great touch as well, and the canoe was great to ride during a sunset. There is much more I would love to describe about our wonderful experience within the house, however it would take half an hour to describe all the great experiences we had because of this house and her host. Overall I would love to come back next winter, and the summer following after. This weekend getaway truly created memories to remember for two lifetimes.
