The cottage is a bright, spacious, stone faced building. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will need inc. washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The bathroom is spacious with an electric shower. The living area includes a TV and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms one consisting of a double bed the other has 3 single beds. The property has ample parking. The cottage has a unique design reflecting old Ireland with Modern Amenities. Location is 4 miles from the village of Emly which has shops and a restaurant. The local pub is a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and is a real Irish pub with mud walls and full of character. There are many nearby attractions which include Golf Courses. Mountain Biking etc.

You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests.
