Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

Even though I had to clean the toilet (there were stains on the upstairs toilet) we still loved our stay at Naomi's place. The garden is beautiful and the furniture is comfortable, and the living room recliners are perfect. I really liked the linen, the feel and the smell.

Jane’s place was great for us- near to shops, walkable distance to the windmill and water. Very friendly locals. House had everything we needed and facilities were good.

Loved our stay at this house. Pictures don't do it justice with the house much bigger than it looks. Very accessible location with only a 5 minute walk to the front of Lytham and it's beautiful windmill. 10 minute walk from the house will also take you right into the main street in the town where there are loads of cafes, pubs and shops. Helen was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved every minute of our Easter break.

Excellent accommodation. Stylish apartments, beautifully furnished , well equipped and spotlessly clean. Situated in the heart of Clitheroe , within walking distance to the castle and all amenities. Fabulous restaurants and beautiful countryside nearby. Responsive hosts. Would highly recommend .

Amazing place with lovely hosts. The space is wonderful with comfy beds and gorgepus shower. Perfect location for a countryside getaway. Gillian and Rowli are perfect hosts and are always good for a chat.

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

Great host! Amazing place and great view. We needed a private, relaxing getaway and this place was just right. We enjoyed the local attractions and loved every bit of the place. House was neat and Dave was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

Four uni students having a reunion 37 years after graduating! Totally enjoyed our stay in Lancaster. Castle tour, bars and restaurants, campus trip, seaside, our old house round the corner and all the old haunts. The city was so much better than we remembered. Fabulous weekend. We were really comfortable in Wendy’s apartment! Great private outside space. One en-suite off a double, another doubles, two singles. Lovely big lounge. We may well be back!

really lovely place to stay in the Lake District. The accommodation is modern, clean and reasonably spacious (it can sleep 5 but dining table is small and can only fit 4). But the bedrooms are nice with super comfortable beds, and both bathrooms are right next to each bedroom, which is really handy . The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer too which we didn't use but great to know it's there for the future. Only improvements I could suggest is to include a coffee machine ( which every Airbnb property we've stayed at has had and are cheap but great for guests who enjoy a decent coffee in the morning), and for the TV to have terrestrial channels. It was a smart TV so it was great being able to connect our Netflix account to, but this and catch-up was all that was available. These are minor points as neither would stop us returning. Louise and team were very responsive to our queries which was great. We'll definitely return soon and can recommend this place.

I absolutely loved my stay at Gina’s place. It’s such a peaceful space with so many thoughtful touches - things like three different lotions in the bathroom with different scents, and lots of extra things like waffles, milk, butter, a bottle of wine, adaptors - every day of my stay I would find something else I hadn’t noticed the day before. Gina is an absolute delight as well, really responsive and helpful and lovely to chat to when we met on the drive outside. Even the neighbours are lovely (and their dogs!). I honestly just felt right at home. I’m starting a PhD at Lancaster University later in the year, and since I have to stay in London I’ll be visiting regularly - I will absolutely be returning to Gina’s every chance I get. 11/10!

My 2nd stay here and it was even better than the first time as the bathroom has been refurbished. It's a great location to get into the town centre and this is walkable.

We had a really lovely stay at Simon and Cath’s place, for a week with our kids. The place was ideal - easy to find, and walkable to the town centre. The accommodation was well laid out and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Our hosts were extremely helpful, with local tips and advice. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to be back sometime soon!

Perfect location for exploring the seafront, directly opposite the gorgeous art deco Midland Hotel. Very spacious, clean apartment with everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again next time in the area.

Nikki was a fantastic host. The place is absolutely stunning. I loved how it was so dog friendly. The hot tub was 10/10, one of the best I have used. Beach is only 2 minute walk away with lots of cafes and places to eat. The town centre isn't far only 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend. Me, my partner and our dog had a lovely weekend.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is finished to a high standard. You can hear a small bit of noise from the other apartment, but nothing that bothered us. It’s right by the river with a small balcony to sit on. It’s well located with around a 20 min drive to Windermere. Sophie and Mark were very responsive on messages.

The Parsonage is just perfect, a really lovely apartment, fantastically equipped with all you need and more, with lovely touches like the roll top bath in the bedroom and the private courtyard that opens out off the bedroom, safe and secure for our dog. The Parsonage is ideally located right next door to Kendal Castle, great walks and beautiful views of Kendal. It’s also just a 10 minute walk into Kendal with plenty of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food and dog friendly too. Patrina is a wonderful host, the special treats left in the fridge were very kind and appreciated, her advice to jump on the bus to Rydal Water and have lunch at the Badger Bar made for the best day out with our dog. It all made for a perfect stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely home from home, very comfy bed and spotlessly clean home for the weekend. Easy to find in a quite safe road with off road parking and private entrance. Great find and will visit again.

Had a wonderful weekend in this spotlessly clean and fantastically situated property. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Took advantage of the recommended restaurants and had one of the best meals for a long time at the San Pietro Windermere Restaurant, thank you Glyn for the heads up. Would certainly not hesitate to book the property again if we ever return to the area.

What a gem of a place! We just needed a place to stay before an event at RSBP Leighton Moss (10min v. scenic drive) that required an early morning. Located right in the middle of Carnforth - about 5-10min walk from train station - and round corner from supermarket. Parking is on-street, we managed to get a space but could see some potential issues (nothing the owners can do - just modern life). We were so impressed with this little place, can't believe how much useful stuff the owners managed to get into the property without it feeling cluttered - microwave (with useful microwavable containers), kettle/toaster, an airfryer(!), fridge, coffee machine and more. And not to mention the "care package" - cereals and breakfast items, milk and OJ, tinned goods, sweet treats, crisps and fruit, plus the usual tea, coffee etc., and every type of toiletries you could ask for. Bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and clean with a lovely walk-in shower. Would stay again if in the area

Ray & Sue's place is superb, very well equipped to a high standard. We found everything to be exactly just right for our needs. Would recommend and would definitely love to return again next time.
