The house is the true Monteverde experience, at the heart of the historic part of Monteverde, settled by the original Quaker community in 1951. The Children's Eternal Rainforest is 5 min away on foot, Curi-Cancha Reserve is 10 min away. The Cloud Forest Reserve is only 1.86 miles from here. Restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, grocery in walking distance, the Monteverde cheese factory, and world-class artisanal chocolate and gelato at Paseo de Stella. The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.
