Marilyn is a beautiful, romantic, vintage silver Airstream, set within her own private enclosed meadow. She has her own large sundeck, sunken outdoor bath and cinema, sun recliners, fire pit & far reaching rural views. You can just relax in the rural retreat or explore the local area, where you will find, wild swimming, hiking in the Black Mountains, Forest of Dean or the scenic Wye Valley. Oak Cottage - an inclusive peaceful haven

A very central yet peaceful apartment offering gracious rooms. Although this is part of our home, when guests come they have exclusive use of these rooms originally set apart as my mother’s annex. The large lounge has comfortable furniture and opens to a small kitchen with room to dine. The two bedrooms have bathrooms - upstairs bedroom has limited headroom and the bathroom is separated by a curtain. Sunroom opens to a shared pool May to Sept and has two sofa beds. Set along a small country lane 1,000 feet above sea level, the cottage has breathtaking views and makes a wonderful base for spotting buzzards and red kites. Climbers, walkers and mountain bikers will have plenty to explore. There are numerous walks from the cottage, with the summit of Sugar Loaf offering panoramic views over the Cotswolds, the Brecon Beacons and the Bristol Channel. The thriving town of Abergavenny (4 miles) has a fantastic range of great pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

'The Halfway' pub is 3/4 mile down our lane. Abergavenny is known as the ‘food capital’ of Wales and boasts some superb restaurants nearby.
