Beautiful location, amazing attention to detail throughout the property. All the added extras were great too with the massage and vegan cooking. Highly recommend a stay here.

For anyone looking for a truly beautiful, unique environment away from the maddening crowd this place is a must. There are no words - the craftsmanship, the views - it is absolutely one of a kind. We found it so relaxing we stayed an extra night. The drive to the Lost Coast and Petrolia is stunning and best of all Daisy just might be the perfect host. It's a steep climb to the top of the ridge where the "tower" is located but it's well worth the hike. We intend to make this a yearly pilgrimage. It's by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.

Spent the most amazing few days here for my birthday. The grounds were absolutely magical and serene. Cottage was perfectly cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub, sauna and outside shower surrounded by gorgeous trees was such a dreammmm. I truly never wanted to leave. But the cottage is located near many trails and beautiful spots to visit. We went to the sequoia park skywalk/zoo and also to a scenic trail above baker beach- so stunning. I’m so so happy I found this place it really was everything I hoped for and more. I would plan another trip here just for the Airbnb. Seriously, heaven. The hosts were super responsive and friendly too!!

We loved staying here when we visited Redwoods National Park. The very private hot tub in dense woods with a nice view of the night sky was a true delight after a hard day of hiking. DeVon was very helpful when we ran into a few hiccups over a holiday weekend!

This nicely set up comfortable place sitting atop the mountain has a beautiful spacious view of the valley below with an awesome sunset. However, the one mile up then back down rocky dirt road was a challenge for my small street roadster. It’s not for beautiful Super or Vintage cars either. On that note, I highly recommend this wonderful cabin on the mountain and Brittany and Bob are wonderful hosts.

Stayed for a night I loved the shower. It was very private and cozy for me, my partner & our 1 year old. I recommend!

My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays out of town and we loved staying at the place we rented out for a week. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the things we needed to clean, cook, etc. Also, having the beach right across from us was such a nice plus! I got to take my little fur baby out for a walk with my friends and we both enjoyed the nature and scenery.

This place is beautiful, clean and surrounded by majestic Redwoods. We will be back!

Stayed at a cabin for the long weekend around Valentine's day. Wonderful property and location, right on the river. Charles is a wonderful host and helped out with local recommendations. Great place for a weekend getaway, pretty close to Richardson's Grove State Park, Humboldt as well. Avenue of the Giants is like a 20 minute drive away and it is right on the US 101.

This is a great private place to stay in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the rustic feel and Robert was a great host.

I think our host was actually a black cat. The very friendly and affectionate cat greeted us on arrival (Charles had sent excellent instructions and was flexible on when we arrived). The cat and my daughter immediately bonded thanks to much petting. The cat showed us to our cabin (which was better than the pictures with two redwood trees growing through the porch and more redwood trees as part of the view down to the Eel River). I spent many hours hanging out on that porch reading and working (thank you very fast Starlink) and petting the cat. She was very well trained not to enter the cabin, which was comfortable and had plenty of space. We also enjoyed being able to use the lodge kitchen and games and bigger tables and porches. We spent a week immersed in the redwoods and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. We did meet Charles, who told us the cat is named Beyoncé.

Brian's place is a perfect spot for visiting the redwoods and surrounding area. He is a great host and the cabin is super cozy! It has a great view and all the amenities you need.

Look no further: this is the place! So peaceful, beautiful, all-around wonderful. Get your zen on in coziness. Right in between Eureka proper and Arcata, the location is as prime as it feels remote. Thoughtful and fun decor, comfortable furniture… my friends and I, and their kiddo, really enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of Valkyrie. The host and pup were friendly and welcoming… this is the way.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hexagon House in Garberville, CA. We chose it for its proximity to the Giant Redwoods at Humboldt Redwoods State Park—it’s just about 15 minutes from the start of the Avenue of the Giants. The house itself is tucked away in a private, peaceful setting with a deck that overlooks the trees and surrounding mountains. It was incredibly relaxing and quiet, and we loved how it felt like part of our vacation—not just a place to sleep. After days spent exploring the redwoods, we were genuinely excited to return to the house each evening. If we’re ever back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin was the perfect end to a very long week traveling north on PCH from Southern California. My kids were thrilled with each having their own bed. The location feels remote and peaceful but we were still able to get pizza delivered! I especially loved coffee on the porch in the morning surrounded by Redwood trees. My kids loved the air hockey and giant Jenga. You’re still pretty close to town so it’s a convenient spot. The host was very kind and communication was excellent.

Great log cabin to stay close to the Redwoods. The home has wonderful amenities and is perfect for a small family or couple. Will stay anytime we are in the area!!
