Mill Valley Retreat

We have a large, lower unit, private studio with a separate entrance, washer/dryer, and private outdoor space. It is quiet amongst the Redwoods, with ample on street parking and is very close to San Francisco, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, downtown Mill Valley, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Sausalito, Tiburon, bike paths and mountain bike trails.

Walk to MV/Muir/Tam- room w/bath/deck/sep-entrance

Large room with separate entrance, private bathroom & deck in a stunning redwood grove in large Mill Valley home on the Middle Dipsea steps. Our ‘park like’ one acre property has spectacular views of Mount Tam. It is 3 mi. via Dipsea trail to Muir Woods, 7.5 miles from Stinson and a 10 min walk down the steps to town. You’ll have on site parking and safe storage for bikes, surfboards, scuba gear, etc. We are experienced Air BnB hosts and travelers who know what you need to enjoy Marin.

The treehouse retreat is surrounded by a redwood and oak forest, a nearby stream, and sauna. Enjoy coffee on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature, or nestle up with a book in a nook in your Queen-sized bed. Gaze through any of the large, light-filled windows encircling a full kitchen with sink, microwave, electric stove top, toaster oven, and mini fridge, a mid-century living room area, maple dining table that converts into ample workspace. Relax in the deep Japanese tub to wind down.

Hike Muir Woods from an Enchanting Studio in Mill Valley

Discover the open flow of this homey artsy private studio. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling valley views. Curl up in a daylight flooded reading nook. Perched at the top of the historic Dipsea Steps, the apartment is a short walk from Mill Valley’s enchanting boutiques, restaurants, and coffee shops. Jump on trails and hike the Headlands, Muir Woods, and Stinson Beach. The studio has a kitchenette with a mini fridge, Nespresso machine and a microwave. Please note, it’s definitely not for cooking meals.

We added our "aluminum guest house" to our back yard with a 100 foot crane! Quiet, green and private backyard. Plenty of headroom, modern amenities and new plumbing with delightful 1969 Vintage décor. 1000 thread count sheets on a queen size bed. Great WIFI and onsite tech support. Well equipped kitchen. Make the most of easy access to the surrounding hiking/running and biking trails - soak up the magic of Mt Tam, Muir Woods, the famous Dipsea trail, Stinson and Muir beaches before returning to the cottage to relax. Snuggle up on the sofa with a good book, stream a movie on your tablet, or cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette. Alternatively it's easy to explore downtown Mill Valley by walking down the Dipsea steps or driving.

Small detached guest cottage (no kitchen) with a private entrance, queen bed /full bath/TV, and a small area with coffee/tea/fridge/microwave/toaster-oven and wifi. We're following strict sanitizing and washing protocols and provide cleaning supplies in the unit. We're in a quaint neighborhood in a flat area of Mill Valley. This space is comfortable for 1 and cozy for 2. A mile from downtown Mill Valley, many great hiking/mountain biking trails and San Francisco is 10 miles away.

Includes bedroom (king) with french doors, living room with pullout couch, a covered deck, and cooking area (see notes). Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)
