Another wonderful stay at Little Springfield. The lodge was immaculate, tastefully decorated and our every need catered for. It’s in a great location - peaceful but so close to the town centre. Easy to access. Couldn’t fault our trip and Lesley and Martin are wonderful hosts.

Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

What a lovely escape this was! We had everything we needed for a cosy night in, before exploring the nearby coastline the next day. A great little gem and we were very happy with the well thought out set up.

Just returned from yet another stay at The Glade, it never fails to be amazing. My son has spent his past 2 birthdays here with me and explains that it is his favourite place. We love the hammock, woods, quiet, solitude and my sons favourite thing is waking up to the birds singing. This place is truly a haven! Remember to take your binoculars as there are an abundance of birds to see. I noticed this stay that there is a nesting pair of Nuthatches nesting in the tree directly in front of the kitchen window. Spent lots of time watching those go in and out and tidy their nest. The Glade is equipped with everything you need and Juliet is on hand if you need anything else. Lovely place and I cannot say enough good things about it. We will be back again soon. Liane, Roo and Peggy-sue.

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

The Cabin was SO special! I stayed with my 3 kids and they absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay, it was super comfortable and stylish and a lovely short walk into town by the river. Beds v comfy and lovely little veranda for sitting in the sunshine!

Beautiful in so many ways!! The views are outstanding and location is so peaceful. Lovely outside space with all you may need. Watching the outside countryside while in the hot tub was stunning. The hut had all you needed with the finishing touches. Well equipped kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Supermarket only 5 minutes drive and lovely local pubs. We weren’t greeted with the weather but still a lovely place to set the fire and enjoy the views, Highly recommend! Will definetly be returning! ❤️

Super clean shepherd's hut in a lovely countryside location where you can watch plenty of wildlife and the pet ducks in the stream. The build quality of the shepherd's hut is very impressive, with double glazing and plenty of heating. Clive is a very good host and responds very quickly to any messages. We will definitely be back at some stage.

Great getaway for us as a family of 4. Great to have all the animals, swings and games to play around us for the kids to be occupied and gave us time to relax in the setting around us. Truck was very comfy and was a great place to stay.

Nathan and his mother in law was brilliant, very helpful and lovely surroundings. We had a brilliant time and very relaxed.

We stayed for 2 nights at Jonathan’s cabin, everything was as described and the place was well equipped. Jonathan was a fantastic host and we’d love to return!

we had a lovely nights stay in the shepherds hut and only wish we could have stayed longer!! it was so peaceful, located in a beautiful part of Devon, and had everything we needed. if we had any questions or concerns then we knew jackie was there, but she seemed to think of everything :) highly recommend!

We had a beautiful bank holiday weekend stay at the shepherds hut. It is exactly as described and in a great location. We went on some really lovely walks with the dog. Danielle was a great host, easy to contact and quick to respond. She also provided lots of different walks to go on and places to go, however after our walk we just enjoyed chilling out at the hut for the rest of the day as it was so nice and private and surrounded by a lovely woodland which our dog loved and the hot tub was a great addition that us humans loved. We would definitely stay again and hopefully will very soon.

We had a lovely weekend in the Little House. Ali and her husband were excellent hosts - great communication and very helpful - even giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending. Would highly recommend this rental.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Shepheards Hut, it was so cute and had pretty garden areas, plus a view of the sea, which you can enjoy from the hot tub. The accomodation was beautiful and had ample space for 2 of us. The location was perfect and in short walking distance to the shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. The Prosecco and cream tea was much appreciated and it was a lovely touch, along with the milk, tea and coffee. Gill was very responsive and always available to give helpful info via messaging. We.woukd love to return one day.

Had a lovely peaceful stay . Lovely chatting with Dave and learning about the business , their family and all about the area . Horse box bathroom was fantastic. Our daughter and her partner can’t wait to visit in July . Would likely return

This was absolutely perfect for a cosy weekend away for me and my boyfriend. The Shepherd’s Hut had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. The highlight was definitely the outdoor bath - it was such a peaceful and relaxing way to end the day. Would definitely recommend and will most likely be coming back one day!

Such a great stay! Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time. The host Marc, was so nice- messaged us to welcome us in and if we had any issues. The place was exactly like the pictures and more, beach recommendations given too which was a short drive away. Absolutely loved the hot tub and the vibe of the place. Highly recommend!! What a fantastic stay we had. We arrived to glorious sunshine. The hut was lovely and clean and we received the most generous selection of food and drinks. Although compact the hut had everything we needed, lots of kitchen equipment, plenty of towels and toiletries. As the weather was so nice we lazed in the swing chair listening to the birds, ate outside after cooking on the outdoor kitchen. We had the most delicious cream tea provided which we enjoyed on the decking. We didn't need to light the fire as it was plenty warm enough, but everything was provided if we had needed it. Shower lovely and hot. Beautiful views and really peaceful. Maria messaged to make sure we were okay and to shout if we needed anything. A gorgeous spot, close to plenty of attractions etc. We have stayed in lots of similar places but Maria really stands out as a host with all the things that are provided. Fantastic value and a perfect stay. Thank you.

We had a beautiful stay at Mill Cross in the Jenny Wren Shepard’s hut over a long weekend. Emma and Kevin were brilliant hosts, they were so kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was great to chat to them and learn about what the do and who they are. Our fire was lit for us to keep the cabin cosy and the hot tub perfectly warmed for us in the evenings. A highlight for us was the abundance of wonderfully friendly animals, it made our morning to have the hens coming running up to say hi, excited greetings from their lovely dog Juno, purrs from the very friendly cat Pickles, and happy hellos from the characterful goats. Stunning location, beautifully clean with expert craftsmanship. Very eco friendly as well. Emma’s homemade bread was delicious and we will be trying the brownie recipe she shared with us. Dreamy stay, wonderful trip. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Even though it was rainy the first half of our stay it was still an incredibly peaceful and cosy place to be. Everything was as described and we were close to walks/bays/supermarket and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower is a highlight for sure! Definitely coming back

Beautiful place, honestly stunning and so so peaceful! Dogs are super super friendly and could of happily taken them all home. 10/10 would book again!!
