Gillys is a modern 2 bedroom stand alone guesthouse situated in a quiet street. The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. Enjoy the peaceful aspect, gaze at the stars at night and listen to the distant waves crashing on the Ninety mile beach. Metung village is only a short 8 minute drive away for your closest supplies. There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

Just a short walk to the Metung Country Club and Hot Springs with public golf course. Access is via a spiral staircase to your private balcony which has an uninterrupted magnificent view of Lake King and the mountains beyond. Dolphin Cove, just to your right attracts several species of Victorian raptors and other native animals.

The neighbourhood Perched on the top of Stirling Road, a stones throw from the Metung Pub, Village, Yacht Club, Shaving Point boat ramp, Back Beach and the Boardwalk. A short drive to the Metung Hot Springs.

Koala Kottage

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. On windy days watch kite surfers out the front. The ambience and serenity are wonderful. Electric vehicle? We are happy to have it plugged in while you are here

The State Forests and beaches are a short drive away. The village of Metung is a 1.5km walk or drive away along the lakeshore.

This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck.
