Vamos a sumergirnos en esta aventura y caminar un rato por una ciudad maya antigua. Iniciaremos el recorrido en la ciudad Maya de Uxmal, donde prodrán admirar una arquitectura impresionante y diferente a otras ciudades prehispánicas, yo los esperare en la entrada para que puedan disfrutar libremente de este lugar y puedan tomarse muchas fotos. Después para recargar las baterias comeremos en uno de los poblados cercanos, una rica y tipica comida regional hecha a la leña de la mano de una familia local. This is a unique culinary experience. If you like to experience the authentic, we advise you to join us on this gastronomic walking experience through Mérida’s city center. Our tour starts meeting at Plaza Grande, one of the most iconic places in Mérida. From here we start our way by getting some traditional refreshing drinks and get our first dish of the day, gorditas. We continue visiting one of the main food markets in town (a really authentic and local place). We’ll have salbutes, tamales and also try some local fruit. We finish our way trying pastor and carnitas.

On every fair in Mexico, one of the streetfoods sold are churros. They are a delicious snack which you can enjoy at all times of the day. In this Mexican cooking class we will teach you how to make those delicioius churros, an excellent chocolate ganache for dipping, and a accompanying Mexican coffee, café de Olla. The chocolate ganache as a dipping for Churros is not a coincedence. The Mayan people claim to be the inventor of the use of Mexican cacao beans. We will make all products from scratch and we will follow the traditional way on how to make them. This means you can also make them easily at home. After the class we will send you some photos and the recipes. Our location is in the historic center of Merida, in the popular neighborhood of Santiago. We will perform the class in one of the professional kitchen restaurant Johannes which is inside the magical boutique hotel Merida Santiago. La mejor experiencia de playas en Yucatán! Iremos a los tres mejores lugares de la costa yucateca. Todo un día, de disfrutar, relajarse, bañarse en estás hermosas aguas turquesas. Salida 8:00 am, desde el punto de encuentro. Antes de salir, haremos una parada en una tienda de autoservicio, para comprar de desayunar. Itinerario: - Isla Columpios. Llegaremos poco después de las 9 am, seremos de los primeros en llegar, para hacer el cruce a los islotes, en lanchas privadas, tiempo libre de dos horas, para poder disfrutar de el mar, el paisaje y lo bello que es, este tesoro de Yucatán. - El Corchito. Estaremos llegando a las 11:30 am, para también hacer el cruce en lancha a estos manglares que tienen ojos de agua naturales, para poder bañarse. Convivirán con mapaches silvestres y disfrutarán de este hermoso lugar. - Puerto Progreso. Para finalizar, este excelente día, haremos tiempo libre en el malecón más famoso de Yucatán, dónde podrán tener tiempo libre para comer o pasar momentos agradables recorriendo, comiendo o tomando fotografías. You will enjoy a two and a half hour bike ride in a safe, fun and unhurried way in one of the most beautiful and peaceful cities in the world: Mérida. We will start at Paseo Montejo avenue to pick up our bicycles and ride through bicycles lanes where I will tell you the secret history of the beautiful mansions and the explanation of the monuments found on this boulevard. We will head to the historic center, pausing for a refreshing fruit drink at my favorite place. Then we will continue to the new and amazing park of “La “Plancha” just three minutes away from Montejo through the gastronomic 47 street. You will learn about the history of railroads and henequén there. On our way, I will give you my personal recommendation of the most relaxed, beautiful, not so expensive places to eat, have a drink and listen to good live music.

We will delve into the Mayan culture and the local way of life. We will start our adventure with a visit to the majestic Chichén Itzá, where we will learn about the history of the place and the meaning and relevance it had for the Mayan culture. We will also have free time in Chichén to take photos and explore, afterwards we will visit one of the most spectacular cenotes in Yucatan and swim in its crystal clear waters; then we will visit a Mayan family in their home and have a buffet lunch of authentic typical Yucatecan food prepared with local products. We will end the day visiting the magical town of Izamal where we will walk through its yellow streets, visit the Convent of San Antonio Padua, the local artisan shops and the Kinich Kak Moo pyramid Nos adentraremos en la cultura maya y en la forma de vida local.
