Welcome! Come explore the wonderful area of Mount Vernon, Iowa. We are within walking distance to Main Street, its shops and eateries, Bijou Movie Theater, and Cornell College! Both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City are also a short drive away. You will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located home! The home comfortably accommodates 6 guests. A Queen Air Mattress is available for an additional 2 guests. There is a $15 fee per night per person for 7th and 8th guest. 8 guests max.

The character within this home is absolutely gorgeous. You wont be disappointed!

To top it all off breakfast items will be provided to start your day off on the right foot before you set out to explore Cornell's Campus or Historic Uptown.

Enjoy this peaceful woodside home situated on a hard-surface road close to Iowa City with easy access to I-80, The University of Iowa, and local wedding venues. This bright space has a fully-appointed kitchen, WiFi, Smart TV, yoga area, king-size bed, garage parking, and a dedicated workspace. The fenced yard looks out on the woods and is perfect if you travel with a pet.

Our place is close to everything! A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.
