Seaside Margate Flat - Fabulous Views and Location

Papillon Apartment is a modern, contemporary decorated one bedroom flat situated on the second floor of a heritage building in Margate Old Town. Looking directly across at the Iconic Turner Art gallery & the sea the apartment is ideally positioned for access to the many shops, bars & eateries within Margate. Both Dreamland & the Train station are also only a short walk away. The apartment is above our retail shop Papillon Interiors & has been thoughtfully furnished with many items that we sell.

This luxurious, design-led top-floor apartment is just moments from the Old Town, Margate main sands, and The Turner Contemporary. Our thoughtfully designed space blends the ease of a fully furnished apartment with the comfort and attention to detail of a boutique hotel suite. Please note, the apartment is on the third floor and accessed by stairs but the distant seaviews and sunsets are worth it 🙂

Spacious 2 Bed in Old Town - 4 min walk to beach.

Enjoy the convenience of this beautifully renovated two-bed Victorian flat with a private entrance and easy access parking close by. Located in the heart of Margate's vibrant Old Town, you're just a short walk from the main sands beach, Turner Gallery, vintage shops, art galleries and restaurants, so you can fully immerse yourself in the Margate culture. The flat is in the centre of town which means there is traffic noise and people noise but you have easy access to everything margate offers.

Sunset Sea View Writer’s Retreat

Beautiful flat with six sea facing floor to ceiling windows. This is a Grade II-listed building with a rare outlook over gardens and out to sea. However, the facade and railing are in need of TLC. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior. Works are being slowly undertaken to renew the outside but this all takes time. The flat may not be suitable for toddlers and young children as the windows open to the floor. No TV, but a projector is supplied. New! Insanely comfy dog bed.

Victorian apartment with a beautiful sea view towards the famed Turner Contemporary. Look out to sea through the porthole window as you start the day with a coffee from the Nespresso machine. Then head out on a short walk round the bay into the vibrant Old Town to explore the antique shops, galleries and cafés. Invite friends over for dinner to watch the sun go down and end the day with a relaxing soak in the bath before climbing into bed to sleep on crisp white sheets.

A spacious, airy and sunny 3 double bedroom, two storey maisonette with its own off-street, gated parking, enough room for 2 cars. We are centrally located, a leisurely 5-10 stroll to Margate main sands and the surrounding quieter beaches, the Old Town, Dreamland, countless art galleries/studios, and the multitude of restaurants, pubs and eateries that continue to spring up in this ever-changing and hugely vibrant area.

The Artist’s Retreat

Enjoy a stylish Margate stay at this centrally-located apartment. Contemporary 70s vibes throughout, the space looks over historic Trinity Square. Perfectly nestled in between the charming Old Town & trendy Northdown Rd, and moments away from the sea. The Main Sands are 5/7min walk. The more local Cliftonville beaches with tidal pool & Haeckles sauna is a 10/12min walk. Looking forward to making your stay special. 💓
