Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. The Old Log Cabin at Dungeness

The 'Old Log Cabin' with amazing views over the English channel is located on the beach, and is built around old Victorian railway carriages. An ideal cosy place to chill. In the centre there is a dining area, and a separate seating area with views over the channel. The Snuggery is a converted outbuilding that has been set up for a cosy stay with a wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. The open plan interior, high vaulted ceilings and natural oak flooring create an interior which is fun, light and airy. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. ‘The Lodge’ with hot tub is the latest addition to our lets A light & airy studio (30 sq m approx) Standard double bed, Kitchenette/ living area & en suite shower with eco- friendly toilet.. It is located by foot 100 metres from the main house down a public footpath. It has its own private entrance and a fully fenced garden ideal for a dog. We cater for guests looking for a relaxing night away. We are not a party venue. Music must be kept at a very low level at all times.
