If you're looking for the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life, I highly recommend this spot! We drove from Bozeman toward Ennis and were treated to absolutely stunning scenery along the way. The home is located about 15–20 minutes outside of Ennis, making it easy to stock up on supplies or fuel without being too far from town. The house itself was incredibly cozy yet offered breathtaking views at every turn. Its private, peaceful setting made it feel like our own little retreat. Brian was wonderful — very welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions we had. This is truly an amazing place for any kind of vacation. Definitely saving this little gem for our next visit!

Lovely home! This fitted our needs very well. The couch is so cozy.

Benjamin's place was perfect for our growing family. It was a good location for walking, in the country on backroads, or the couple blocks to downtown. It was nice to have the extra space with plenty of room inside to move around. The extra large sofa and bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen full of amenities allowed us to have meals in and even bake a birthday cake - which we enjoyed after dinner while sitting at the large, beautiful dining room table. We'd definitely stay here again for a family gathering.

We had an amazing time with our family at this gorgeous home in the beautiful mountain Montana town, Ennis. The wildlife was routine and jaw-dropping. It was quiet, peaceful and the stars that lite up the sky were breathtaking. We were so fortunate to be there with sunshine and snow showers within the same week. Just beautiful.

We had a lovely stay, the home is perfectly appointed, clean, quiet, and an easy walk to town. We will be back!

Beautiful home. All my family and I could ask for. Super gorgeous decor and felt like home. I'd for sure come back here. I specifically appreciated how well-stocked the house was, and so much thought was put into everything. Ennis is a pretty small town, and this place is perfect, and the backyard view is something special.

Clean, as described, close to Pizza and shops, hosts were responsive when needed.

Spent two weeks at this house. Beautiful views...loved sitting on the porch in the evening and watching the wildlife, tracking the weather and just enjoying the beautiful scenery!

A great little cabin! The beds were comfy and the amenities were great! The place was spotless.

Perfect for us. We were rarely there because of events at UMW, but we are able to get all our friends and family together for a dinner and the space was perfect for laughs and making memories. We are grateful to have used to space. Hope to return.

WOW! James place was exactly what we needed. We were looking for a place to have some solitude over the long weekend after a hectic summer with a newborn. The cabin was everything as described and more. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise and driving back to cliff and wade lakes. Lots of wildlife along the drive. Can’t wait to visit again!

Renee and Forrest’s place was great! We had family visiting from out of state, and this great place is just around the corner from us. They enjoyed their stay at this beautiful spacious house.

This place was spectacular, clean and well thought out. Jon had everything labeled and was easy to find! Kitchen was stocked with everything. My family made a delish thanksgiving dinner and was able to enjoy each other company without any hiccups. We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling in the area

Debs place is an amazing spot to stay when visiting Dillon. Short walk to the bars and restaurants downtown, the gas station or Safeway. will definitely stay again!

We had an awesome stay at Big Sky! We felt so welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and appreciated the special touches that the hosts went out of their way to provide (delicious coffee, easy to follow instructions for fire place, towel basket ready to go for the hot tub, propane and a new grill etc.). The property was well maintained and we enjoyed our nights outside in the hot tub under the stars - along side some friendly wildlife. The house was very clean (as was the hot tub) and the beds were sooo comfy. We would highly recommend!

If you are looking for a spectacular location and ski in/ski out access to bug sky. This location is for you. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the mountains and slopes - exactly what we were looking for and we found it.

Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay the River Retreat cabin. Nicely decorated. Great location with lots of space. It had everything we needed. Big fenced yard that our dog appreciated. The hot tub was great after a long day at the Montana Folk Festival in Butte.

Darin was absolutely incredible. During our stay he was always checking up on us making sure we were okay. The airbnb is beyond beautiful and the scenery was incredible. I recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a cozy winter vacation.

Dawn was absolutely wonderful! Her property is beautiful and she is the best host! Highly recommend staying at her place as it is out of this world! We can’t wait to go back!

Silver Star ranch was exactly what we needed. It was private and peaceful and a great place to launch two weeks of exploring from. we hit the tobacco root mountains, Virginia, Nevada, and Bannack ghost towns (Nevada & Bannack were our favorites), pioneer scenic byways and scouted dozens of off grid camping sites for next year in the various national forest. For pets, one thing to be aware at the cabin is are the prickly bears (small cactus)... bothered our German shepherds feet some. Local vet in Sheridan was great and gave us a spray to toughen pads while we were out. it really helped. We climbed the area behind the cabin too...good workouts each morning. Jim was a great host and easy to talk to. Thanks Jim!

What an amazing place! The location is fantastic -- a short ride (or, if the neighborhood lift is running, short ski) to the main resort base. The photos of the exterior of the cabin make it seem smaller than it actually is. It's 3-levels and very spacious. It also is extremely well equipped -- down to having a waffle maker and fire starters for the fireplace. The beds were also comfortable, towels fluffy, and the place was extremely clean. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again.
