Kitchenette with fridge & microwave, toaster, coffee pot, electric skillet & electric tea kettle; dishes & utensils. TV with DishNetwork. Wifi available. Sit on the balcony and enjoy the view! Go for a hike on our local trails, explore the many breweries in Bellingham, visit the beach in Birch Bay, bike the county roads, or enjoy a scenic drive on the Mt. Baker Highway. Then come back to a unique, cozy TINY HOUSE. Roast marshmallows around the campfire, snuggle up and watch a movie on Netflix, and relax with a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning. Refresh, relax, and find joy!

If you visit anytime July-October you can come browse my dahlia patch and vegetable garden!

The Walnut Hut

Unique and tranquil getaway. The Walnut hut is a cozy rustic cabin on our 9 acre permaculture biodynamic farm. Peaceful country setting. We are about 6 miles from Bellingham, Lynden and Ferndale, and 17 miles from the Canadian border. Seasonal Farmstand. Farm tours available by appointment. Shared bathroom with shower in a nearby building, and an outdoor kitchen usually available April thru October.

Our cozy and comfortable studio suite is good for business trips, travellers, short term students, or couples trying to get away. The space is updated and offers a TV and fully equipped kitchen. There is street parking available. The house is situated on a grade and does require stair climbing to access the suite. There is no A/C in the unit.

We would love to welcome you to our Garden Gate Suite. This is a 2nd story room with a bathroom. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. With a completely private entrance you have access to a garden space and views of Bellingham. Seasonal fireplace and AC unit as space gets quite warm in the summer season.

Creek-side Cottage

Private unit attached to our home. The is one bedroom with large closet and a queen-size bed, a 3/4 bathroom, and living area. Full kitchen includes a sink, range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dishes etc. Pull out sofa sleeper (queen). You will have your own entrance with a private patio and parking.
