The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Beautiful home in an amazing setting! The house had everything needed and the property was even better than the photos. Very quiet and private. Host was friendly and responsive. Can’t recommend enough!

Mark was truly a super host. The preparation work he did in terms of getting you there, operation of equipment, expectations was phenomenal. He was very responsive when we had an issue. And the EV car charger was a huge addition. Would definitely book from Mark again!

Located in a very remote, quite and beautiful part of Shenandoah with everything you need right there. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub an amazing relaxation experience.

From the moment i turned onto the winding driveway up the mountain, Timber Creek felt like stepping into a dream. Tucked away in total seclusion, this cabin is the perfect escape: peaceful, cozy, and absolutely stunning in every way. Zoe and her family have created something truly special. The cabin was hightech yet warm and personal, with thoughtful touches in every corner. hiking down to the private waterfall, and playing guitar by the fire pit under the trees made it truly an unforgettable trip for me. The attention to detail was incredible…from the complimentary Nespresso machine to the cozy throws and beautifully designed interior, Every single thing felt intentional and perfectly placed. Believe it or not, you can hear the sound of the waterfall from every corner of the house. It’s amazing. I left feeling completely disconnected from the stress of everyday life. I’d go back in the blink of an eye. Thank you, Zoe, for creating a place that was everything I needed.

The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

I recently stayed at a cabin rental near the Shenandoah River, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and providing a spacious yard for outdoor activities. Inside, the cabin was just as spacious and inviting. After a long day of hiking, exploring, and fishing, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind! The owners were incredibly responsive and kind. The gentleman went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, with thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more special. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely be visiting again. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

Loved our stay here!! Would come back again in a heartbeat, this was such a beautiful space with a wonderfully responsive host. We ended up having a bit of broken glass at the property & immediately the host made sure that we were safe & got someone out to clean it up! We had a lovely stay at this little cottage - it’s rhetorical perfect escape from DC! We loved how cozy and comfortable everything was and our dog loved exploring the woods around the cabin we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It was our first overnight trip with our dogs and we needed to unplug and unwind for a few days. This was the perfect location. It was beautiful and quiet, and far enough away from town that we didnt feel like we needed to be "on the go" the whole weekend. The game room downstairs was so much fun and the main bedroom upstairs was relaxing and spacious. Berkeley Springs is a great little town. If you visit, check out Mythical Pizza. We would love to visit and rent this home again with additional family members because there were enough beds/bedrooms to accommodate. Thanks for a great stay!

Amelia’s cozy cabin packs in a lot of fun! There is something for everyone. We loved the heated screened porch, kids loved the trampoline, games, building bonfires, and cooking pizzas in the pizza oven. The well stocked kitchen was a huge bonus! The cabin is located in a great community with a variety of lovely walks and is perfectly situated for skiing at Timberline. We also spent time visiting Thomas / Davis. We had a fantastic dinner at Elender’s, afterwards we enjoyed ice cream and music at the Purple Fiddle. But what we loved most was hanging at the cabin and listening to albums. We can’t wait to return! Tips for future guests: For our next visit we will be sure to pack shampoo, soap, as we forgot but otherwise the cabin has everything you need. If you are sensitive to cats, bring allergy pills. The dander is very minimal. Amelia is a wonderful host. She is very responsive and provided lots of fun local suggestions and pizza oven cooking tips!

We stayed in this cabin over Easter weekend for 4 nights and three days, and we couldn't have been more pleased with this cabin. Our main vacations are going to cabins, so I spend a lot of time looking at properties and reading reviews and I kept coming back to this one and finally booked it. I was so glad I did! It was clean, quiet, in a beautiful location, and other than taking a drive along South Branch River Road on Easter Sunday we stayed at the cabin the whole time. My husband even said that this was probably one of the best cabins we've stayed in and would really like to return. We felt comfortable and right at home. We were also fortunate to arrive just as the Lilac bush at the corner of the porch was in full bloom and the smell was intoxicating. The back deck view and stars was just icing on the cake. Thank you!

This rustic, cozy cabin was the perfect spot for an impromptu weekend in the mountains for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. It was cold outside but heating worked well! So appreciated the little conveniences provided, like dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels & clear, easy checkout instructions. Great location in easy drive to Davis main street and skiing. Laura was a super responsive host. Would def return!

Easy to rent and get to. Everything on the first floor was wheelchair accessible for my wife. My dachshund even enjoyed the access too. Very relaxing sitting on the two porches watching the many deer. Everything was enjoyable and relaxing. Very professional workers when they contacted me to check the hot tub several times.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and we did not want to go home! The home and area are beautiful. We had a great time fishing, kayaking and enjoying the various wild life. The home is just as described and John’s communication since day 1 was wonderful. John had everything we needed. We have stayed at several homes through the years and this is our new favorite. We hope to be back each year!

Our family had the best time here! Loved the yurt! There is a creek across the street that the children played in, we fished in the pond, played baseball in the meadow, had a campfire under the stars. The beds were super comfortable, we enjoyed the privacy and the beauty of the area. We hope to go back and stay longer next time! Well appointed kitchen, super clean home, responsive host, beautiful views through the many windows, private stay yet close to activities. It’s a gem, for sure!

It's a ways back in the woods, but this place is perfect for those seeking a quiet, peaceful woodland retreat with no one else in sight. (It's a bit of a challenge finding the turn up the driveway in the dead of the night, but I do it all the time in the Appalachian hills.) We all loved the screened-in porch and fire pit. (And I almost made off with the meditating Sasquatch figure.) The curly metal staircase to the second floor bedroom may be a challenge to anyone with mobility or tight-space issues, along with the cramped commode up there. But the bedroom itself is cozy. Great windows and views all around in the place. There were four of us in our entourage and we all wish to return!

Buck's Run was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah. It was a peaceful getaway for my friends and we enjoyed lounging about playing board games, reading, soaking in the hot tub, and staring out into the woods as the snow fell. Jen was very proactive in making sure we were going to be ok with the incoming storm and Pete their local manager was very responsive with questions we had.

Had a great stay at Jennifer and Ian’s cabin. We enjoyed all the activities and access to the river, the hosts are very nice and accommodating

This was exactly what I was looking for. Camping with a shooting range on site. I was able to test out my night vision on the range. I will definitely be booking again!

Having stayed at several air bnbs in WV I can easily say this is hands down the best one. The vibe of the house is immaculate. Rooms are large and impeccably decorated. The porch areas are all perfect and the whole place has an amazing blend of rustic and refined decor. Highly recommend
