Maison de caractère au coeur d'un parc de 45ha

Located in the heart of the park, the stables of Hodebert is the ideal place to meet up with friends or family and visit the Loire châteaux and enjoy the surrounding nature. Wood burning fire place, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, an access to the ecologic pool of the property… This almost abandoned building required a considerable amount of work to turn it into a comfortable and authentic guest house. Our philosophy: furnishing a house as if it was meant for our friends, our extended family

Lovely, quiet bedroom with private, sunny salon - view of Chateau Castlenaud - private attached bathroom. Large walled garden with chateau view and several lounging areas. Tiny, secluded village, offers views of Chateau Beynac, Chateau Castelnaud, Chateau Fayrac, and a walk uphill brings you to Chateau Marqueysac. Within 3 mins' drive: Castlenaud; Beynac; Le Roque Gageac. Less than 10 mins to Domme or Sarlat; 15 mins to St Cyprien; 30 mins to Les Eyzies and 35 to Montignac.

Romantic & authentic B&B, château de la Vernède

Former hunting lodge of Queen Margot, 6 km from the A75, the Château de la Vernède welcomes you to the Séquoia room (air conditioned) : large bed, beautiful view of the park, shower in the turret. Modest in size (16 m2) but cozy, it is ideal for a short stopover in Auvergne. Hearty breakfast (homemade jams, bread and croissants from the village, cheese) included. Dogs and cats welcome! Inns, gourmet restaurants nearby. IMPORTANT: guests invited to a wedding not accepted!
