CasparCottage. is a charming quiet nicely appointed cottage that we built on our 5 private acres 3 miles from the ocean and 10 minutes from Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. We provide breakfast goodies!

From the cottage, walk to the beach, or 5 minute drive to Mendocino.

Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.

Located on the same premises as Whole Body Wellness Integrative Medical Center and Retreat. Due to severe allergies, pets are not permitted.

This is NOT a pet-friendly home, so please keep that in mind, no exceptions. This is a detached, single-family home. Property is being rented as a "studio", so you have use of everything present, except the main and second floor bedrooms. There is a queen bed on the main floor and a sitting area that can be converted into a single bed on the 2nd floor. Make yourself at home! Note: The bathroom has a free-standing bathtub with a shower wand.

Quiet and secluded. Located on a paved private lane away from traffic.
