The mountain cottage is a unique, remote and romantic place to disconnect, enjoy spectacular sunsets followed by an evening of star gazing. High up in the Waterberg mountains this eco cottage operates on solar power and relies on rain water harvesting, whilst battery operated lamps are provided for light. The cottage is best reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle; alternatively arrange for us to fetch you at the gate to take you. Join us and switch off, very limited connectivity only.

Leadwood Lodge Bush house

This is a self catering, fully airconditioned house, let as a unit, you will need to bring everything in the way of food and toiletries with you (towels and bedding are provided). We have an inverter system, to enable lighting, during load shedding. There are 2 stores, the Bush Center and Marlothi Shopping center, with fuel. You will wake up to the sounds of the bush, don't forget a good flashlight and binoculars. Free WiFi capped at 30GB. If additional data required, contact us.

Pata Pata House is a spectacular House located in Marloth Park (next to Kruger National Park) where many African animal species roam freely through the park and around the house. Nestled in a deciduous forest, overlooking Ebenezer dam & is safely tuck away on a quiet peninsula. Dirt road is well maintained & suitable for all types of cars. Conveniently situated only 3km from Haenertsburg. Ideal for a romantic interlude and outdoor enthusiasts. Launch site for boaters and fisherman. Suited for MTBiking, walkers, trial runners and birders.

Shooters Hill, Walkersons Estate

Shooters Hill is situated in the well renowned Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons has some of the best trout waters in the Mpumalanga Highlands and aside from fishing, offers mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding, spa treatments, bar and restaurant. The house is well appointed and fully serviced. Three of the 4 bedrooms have fireplaces. We recently installed Solar and batteries to run the essential loads in the house. The house also has a gas stovetop.

Klipsand Tentcamp is nestled at the foot of the majestic Waterberg mountains and the Marakele National Park in the Thabazimbi bushveld. Lots of free roaming game, abundant birdlife and an expansive night sky makes this a nature lover’s delight. This is the ideal getaway from the noise of the city. Come and relax around the splash pool and outdoor fireplace, or take leisurely walks on the farm. The farm is situated in the UNESCO protected Waterberg biosphere.
