Simply lovely South Downs Shepherd hut

Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). Welcome to Pillows & Toast, a luxury, self-contained, cliff-top retreat. Perfectly located, first line to the sea, a few steps from breathtaking walks. Direct access to the beach & under-cliff walk below. Super king-size bed, media wall with 65-inch TV & cosy electric fire, big shower with feature wall & underfloor heating, contemporary art, Nespresso coffee machine, free parking. 15 minutes to Brighton by car or a scenic 20 minute bus. Bus stop is a 1 minute walk, arrivals every 10 minutes.

The Hideaway Cottage

The Cottage is a self-contained annexe within the grounds of our home but separate from the main house. It has its own entrance, small garden, patio area & parking for one car only. The cottage is a great place to stay while you explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and coast. The historic town of Lewes is within a 10-minute drive, Uckfield 10 minutes, & Brighton is 30 minutes away. Trains: From London-Uckfield/Lewes We also have 2 shepherd's huts which use the same driveway as the Cottage.

Caburn Cabin is in Firle Village in the South Downs national park. Our spacious timber cabin sleeps up to four people. It has a warm rustic charm whilst being fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Hop into the hammock and sit by a glowing fire-pit in the summer, or snuggle up in front of the wood-burner in the winter - the Tack Barn is special all year round.

The location is simply outstanding you go from rural views to the historic Lewes town centre within a 5 minute drive. Glyndebourne opera and Charleston are within a 10 minute drive. A gloriously secluded Shepherds Hut close to Lewes

Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

The Cart Lodge a cosy rural hideaway

Situated in a secluded part of our 16th century farm, this detached, south facing cart barn has been converted to a very high standard. In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. Places to explore include Lewes and Eastbourne, 9 miles. Glyndebourne 6 miles. An excellent pub and restaurant is within a ten minute walk along country footpaths. The village shop 2 miles.

The Little Cabin by the Lake

Relax and unwind in the cosy comfort of our beautiful cabin, a peaceful hideaway nestled beside a tranquil lake and surrounded by ancient woodland. In summer, throw open the doors and enjoy long, golden evenings on the large private decking area, perfect for outdoor dining, morning coffee, or simply watching our resident geese. As autumn arrives, the woodland transforms into a tapestry of rich colours, with falling leaves reflected on the lake and crisp walks right on your doorstep.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. The bright and airy living room has a vaulted ceiling and spacious lounge (including Sky TV) with separate Bedroom and Bathroom. There is a fridge and a small area for making tea / coffee and toast but no cooker - who wants to cook on holiday anyway!! There are local pubs including one within 3 mins walk serving good food, shops and even a Victorian cinema in walking distance and many other Sussex and Kent places of interest within a short drive.

Green Park Farm Barn

In the heart of Mid-Sussex, our former dairy farm dates back to the early 1800's. The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Guests can enjoy countless walking and cycling trails from the front door. Brighton, historic Lewes, Glyndebourne, Hickstead and the South Downs are all a stones throw away. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.
