If you are looking for a peaceful country setting with wonderful hosts, this is the place for you! Beautiful countryside and loved seeing a few cats stroll around the yard and the most beautiful chickens in their coop. Farm fresh eggs! Will definitely be back every time my travels take me to the Chariton area. Thank you Sherri & Tony for the great hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. Communication was excellent—quick responses and clear instructions made check-in a breeze. The home was also well-stocked with all the essentials and more, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had an amazing experience at Mrs. Katie's place! From the moment we booked, her communication was excellent—she was always quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The farm is absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. Mrs. Katie was so kind and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. A special highlight was the delicious Shoo-Fly Pie she shared with us—it was a real treat! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay. We'll definitely be back!

I’ve stayed here a few times with family. It’s a great location with plenty of space. It’s clean and as shown in the pictures. Host is friendly, helpful and responds quickly.
