Mersea cottage - in a perfect location

The house has been owned by the same family for the last 40 years, it has been modernised over the years making it feel like a home from home. We feel that The Lane is arguably the best and most characterful location on the island. If you are a seafood enthusiast you couldn’t be better situated as The Company Shed is a 5 minute walk away. It’s walking distance to the beach and sea wall. The village 15 minute walk away with restaurants, cafes & shops. Bikes are a good way to get around the island

SEA VIEW apartment - 3 min walk from Old Leigh

The apartment is perfectly positioned with Old Leigh cockle sheds and pubs a 3-minute walk down the hill and the shops & cafes of Leigh just 3 minutes walk up the hill. The apartment has a splendid view of the estuary from the main living area. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which has a view of the sea too! Being a ground floor flat there is easy access to the shared lawn outside. There is a designated car-parking space. Leigh station is a 15-minute walk away and 55 mins from London Fenchurch st.

Fawkes Perch

Fawkes Perch is a self-contained studio apartment furnished in a contemporary style in West Mersea. It's a 5 minute walk from the beautiful monkey beach.The apartment is below our own flat and is one large room, with a king size double bed and a large corner sofa-bed. It has a small kitchen too. The property is ideal for a couple but the sofa bed in the room which would be ideal for children but would be a bit cosy for four adults in the room unless you all knew each other really well!

Homely 3 bedroomed caravan on Mersea Island, Essex

Moments from the beach our holiday home is a cosy, well equipped, 3 bedroomed 35 ft static caravan with leisure decking. Sited in a quiet location on West Mersea's Waldegraves Holiday Park. Beautiful sea views, amazing sunsets and a private garden to unwind and relax in. The Park's facilities/entertainment for families are near at hand. Seafood has been Mersea's speciality since the Roman times. Colchester, a short drive away offers a wide variety of leisure and entertainment venues.

Woodbine Cottage

Whether you’re get up and go types or would rather relax than rush, you’ll find Mersea has something to suit everyone’s taste and pace. Just take a short stroll from the cottage and you’ll discover a delightful esplanade and beach, two rather nice pubs, cafe’s, a yacht club and the famous seafood eateries. You’ll hear the bells ringing out from the sailing boats and see kids enthusiastically crabbing from the jetty. We fell head over heels in love with Mersea and hope you will too.

Spacious Self-contained Annexe

Perfect for total isolation. A completely self-contained, large and modern refurbished annexe on a 300 year-old farm house near Chelmsford. The annexe is modern, spotlessly clean, very large, with fully-fitted kitchen, family bathroom, large ensuite, two large bedrooms, lounge & dinning room. Also a generous and private outside space, games room, ample parking & just 5 mins from the A12. It really is home-from-home, ideal for families, weddings, business and extended stays.

Cosy quiet beach cottage for walking & seafood

'The Cabin' is a comfortable two bedroom cottage on Mersea Island, near Colchester, a few steps from the sea on a much sought after quiet lane. There are two double bedrooms, one with a Super King bed the other with a King size bed and a bunk bed. There are great walks and bike rides either along the sea wall or on the beach, and some fantastic seafood eateries. Mersea Island is off the coast of Essex, 9 miles southeast of Colchester, just one hour from London.

Beautiful 'Rose-Dene' with ample parking

'Rose-Dene' is a two bedroom bungalow (sleeps 6) in a residential area of Sheppey and has ample parking space at the front with easy access from the road which can be busy at peak periods. At the back of the bungalow you will find a beautiful and extensive garden where you can relax or enjoy a game of table tennis, bar-b -q and in the summer a cream tea.

My place is at the heart of Leigh-on-Sea Old Town, with its cockle boats, waterside pubs and restaurants, sea birds and beach. You’ll love my place because of the location, the views, and being at the cosy centre of a lively seaside village. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
