Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Stunning Suffolk Barn Conversion

Slow down and relax at this romantic rural retreat on the edge of Constable country. The Hay Barn, with its wonky beams and wood-burning stove, sits peacefully among acres of rolling farmland, moments from some of Suffolk’s most iconic sights, including Sutton Hoo - featured on Netflix’s The Dig. Wake to the splashing of wild mallards on the pond, pick juicy plums from the orchard, and set off on an adventure across the fields. Perfect for walking, cycling, exploring or simply hiding away.

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

The Old Stables. Detached and full of character

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

Edies Retreat - ideal for a staycation

Edies retreat is a comfortable, self contained studio apartment, set in a small hamlet of houses at the end of a lane adjacent to a farmers field and apple orchard, on the edge of Dedham Vale AONB. Perfect for relaxing or a more active holiday. Walking, cycling and canoeing can all be enjoyed locally. There are plenty of fascinating local villages and towns to visit if history is your thing. We can suggest various itineraries for you and help you arrange your chosen activities.

The Granary - Stylish converted farm building

The Granary has been stylishly converted and is situated on a quiet country lane in the picturesque and historic village of Groton. Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, just a few miles from several picture postcard villages, including Kersey and Lavenham. With miles of quiet lanes and footpaths and pubs within walking distance, it is ideally placed for walkers, cyclists and country lovers. Relax and unwind in this rural idyll - a perfect base for exploring Suffolk.

The Studio Suite

The Studio is modern self-contained bed and breakfast suite in a village location 5 minutes off the A12 road 7 miles SW of Ipswich on the Suffolk/Essex borders. Ideal for an short stay or a longer visit to explore the beautiful countryside. A spacious Bed-sitting room with double bed, well equipped shower room, kitchenette. Own front door access with parking adjacent. Food for a light self- catering breakfast. A well behaved dog is welcome, by prior arrangement.

The Orchard Hadleigh 3 Bed Luxury Log Cabin

One of 3 luxury lodges nestled within the Cherry Orchard. The lodge sleeps 6 people with lovely views, its own private hot-tub, large decking area, outside seating & sun loungers. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, including coffee machine, smart TV, log burner ,large fridge freezer and DVD player. About a 20 minute walk into Hadleigh, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants.

The Annexe, Centre of Dedham

In the centre of Dedham, The Annexe offers a restful retreat to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Just off the High Street, it is perfectly located to enjoy all that Dedham has to offer. Restaurants, pubs, shops, beautiful walks and the river are all moments away. The private annexe is attached to our house with its own entrance and superb views of St Mary's Church.
