Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Everything was very clean and the cottage was super comfortable. The outdoor space and the hot tub was our favourite part - so peaceful and relaxing. Andy was a great host as well - very informative and ensuring we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

This was my second visit and it won’t be the last! I appreciate the beautiful, quiet setting, cozy space, and amenities and that I can bring my dog with me. I enjoyed afternoon campfires and the hot tub on dry days and proximity to town and Sundara Spa. I’ll echo what other guests have mentioned about low water pressure in the shower, but that’s not enough to affect my rating or desire to return. Whisky Wood is one of my happy places.

Will definitely be coming back here every time we are in the area. The cabin felt Like home, with amazing views of their buffalo herd and rolling hills. Pristinely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

The place was beautiful we really enjoyed our stay here! Saw lots of wildlife within minutes of us being there! We loved that it was away from the city very peaceful very quiet. The jacuzzi was amazing adds to the ambiance for sure! Highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

Debra's house has everything any family needs for fun. It is close enough to Wisconsin dells to easily spend a day there and go home for relaxation. The kitchen is well stocked to do your own meals. She was great host!

Our stay at Mee Mees Cabin was lovely! The cabin is beautifully decorated and stocked with anything we could need! It was a perfectly relaxing weekend! The host was quick to respond and the location felt safe and secure. Would definitely recommend staying here if you need time to disconnect from reality!

This place was great! Perfect for our family. Even in the winter the kids played on the beach and with the horseshoes and ran all over. It was a spot we for sure want to enjoy in the summer too! Very clean. Everything was as it was explained. Host was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

Spent my birthday weekend at the Fat Porcupine with my dog — even took a social media break to soak in the experience! The creek was beautiful, and my dog had a lot of fun exploring. I did some fishing, spent time on the deck watching birds and taking photos, and saw a few deer and turkeys. It was peaceful and just what I was looking for.

Just a wonderful 3 day stay during a curling bonspiel in Columbia County. What a beautiful cabin tucked back in a private wooded area with a wealth of wildlife ( deer, turkeys, eagles). Melissa gets all the details right and takes away any worries associated with staying away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something that feels like home. . We rented Daniel's home for our family Christmas. There were 6 adults, 6 children and our lab. The home was spacious enough we didn't feel we were on top of each other. There were plenty of sleeping spaces and having 2 1/2 bathrooms was a huge plus. The kids and Dads had a blast in the garage playing foosball. It was great having a place for the kids to go and play that allowed them to stretch out and make noise without having to worry about disturbing the other family members. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Daniel had the whole house decorated for Christmas including a beautiful tree. He really made sure our stay was perfect. Daniel was very responsive to the few questions we had, and very friendly. The family requested we rent it again next year for our family Christmas, they enjoyed it so much!

Our family absolutely loved this place. Enough space for everything, beautiful home. The best part was the setting, quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy coffee outside in the morning and watch the deer in the fields. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Great recommendations and Corey left some local items for us to try. Loved our getaway from the city! This home was so cozy and clean. Loved the aesthetic and was the perfect home base for hiking at Devil’s Lake and Mirror Lake State Park. The sauna was perfect to relax in after our hikes. This place is a true gem! Jeremy was very helpful and responsive!

This is a lovely property that exceeded our expectations. It’s the kind of place you need to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. I’ve already recommended the cabin for getaways to my friends even though I want it to be my secret getaway. We will be back and for a longer stay!
