Located just a couple of miles outside of Elkhorn & directly on the Elkhorn River, this is a nature-lovers haven! Local restaurants, shopping & other amenities in Elkhorn, Omaha & Waterloo are within a few minutes drive! Our place is a smoke & pet free home! Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.

Enjoy the beautiful Loess Hills near Pony Creek Lake. Modern pet friendly cabin that sleeps 6 on 2 wooded acres with 1 bedroom and 2 sleeping lofts, a furnished kitchen, bathroom and living room with WIFI & large covered porch. We provide a propane grill, fire pit, with wood and seating. A canoe and kayaks are available for use on the lake. There is a 6 foot fenced dog run and dog house. Walnut Hollow Cabin has everything you need to relax and unwind 30 minutes from Omaha.

Malvern Depot

A railroad depot renovated into a bunkhouse located midway on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. It includes 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. A/C & heat, coffee maker, dorm fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. Linens and towels provided. One queen bed, the other twin bunk beds. The Futon in the living area folds out. Conveniently located 2 blocks from downtown. No pets please.
