We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home over the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my family and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout, it’s clear that the hosts take great pride in creating a welcoming and relaxing space. The location was peaceful and perfect for a family getaway, with plenty of space to enjoy time together. 10/10 would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-cared-for home. We’ll definitely be back!

Kris has a beautiful property! Spatious, very well equipped, comfortable furniture, great entertainment options for adolescents and children. Great option to spend quality time together as a larger group.

We had a wonderful stay at Eliane’s place! The cottage was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view on the Ottawa River. We would stay there any time again.

This place was beautiful! We had 10 friends with us to celebrate the new year and we were all very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were amazing. One thing is that the pots and the pans almost all had very scratched teflon, so we didn’t have great peace of mind cooking using those so I would bring your own pots and pans. Besides that, it was beautiful :)

L'hôte est attentif au confort des invités. Même si notre séjour était durant une tempête de neige, tout était déneigé à notre arrivée et l'hôte était accommodant à l'heure de départ pour assurer que nous prenions la route de façon sécuritaire. Every year, we reunite as friends in a chalet… and this one is, without a doubt, the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. The place radiates peace and natural beauty. Everything is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully prepared, and offered with true generosity. Délicious coffee, a selection of teas, soft robes, firewood provided… it truly feels like a spa retreat. We enjoyed coffee by the lake, yoga on the terrace, and peaceful moments by the stunning indoor fireplace. And the hosts… such a kind, welcoming, and thoughtful family, sharing this little piece of paradise with heart. Thank you so much Brianna and Devin for welcoming us so warmly. I would definitely love to come back with my family to let them discover this beautiful place. We leave refreshed, grateful, and filled with joy 🩵

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end avec des amis, la saison ne nous a pas permis d'exploiter tout le potentiel du chalet mais nous avons quand même pu faire du canoë sur le lac. Le chalet est assez spacieux pour 8 personnes et très agréable à vivre ! Julie est une hôte accommodante et très réactive. Nous la remercions encore de nous avoir accueillis si gentiment dans son chalet familial.

An immaculate cottage just over 30 minutes outside Ottawa. The views of the River were a beautiful backdrop to our cozy weekend retreat this April. Whether we were sitting on the patios taking in the River, inside the enclosed deck playing cards, or sleeping in the comfy beds, we were well satisfied. Our hosts were also incredibly responsive to all our questions. We hope to return in the future!

very nice and quiet place on the water, grocery store only 10 minutes away and many hiking spots within driving distance. Can't beat what you're getting for that price.

Kelly’s place is a beautiful cottage right on the water. Spacious, bright and modern and what stood out to me was how very clean everything was, which is super important to me. Cozy, comfy beds, lots of places to sit and relax. I highly recommend a visit to Kelly’s cottage!

Hands down one of the best cottages we’ve stayed at. Beautiful lakefront location with everything you need and more included with your stay. The sauna was a lovely added touch. Communication was great and the cottage was very clean and finished to a high standard. We’ll be sure to come back one day!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.

This is an excellent cottage—super clean, with a lake view, located in a very calm and relaxing area. There’s a store just a 2-minute drive away that has everything we needed. Majid is a great host and provided us with everything we could possibly need. The cottage is maintained and equipped as if it were for his own use. He’s also very welcoming. I highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely come back!
