Anisa is a responsible and friendly host, and the cottage is a lot bigger than the pictures show. there's also a lot of thought put into the space, that is lacking in other Airbnbs in the area. All the added small touches make the space feel like your own home, and the unit is quietly tucked away from the main road. The only thing that may not be obvious from the listing, is that the cottage is located along the main road, and is not a beach front property as the pin on AirBnB suggests. Regardless, wished I could have stayed here longer

This house is designed with a theme inspired by ancient, multi-panel doors. The kitchen layout is excellent — you can enjoy chatting with friends while cooking! Margaret is a warm and cheerful girl who always keeps the house clean and tidy. She also helped us find the local fish market, where we were able to buy fresh seafood directly from local fishermen! The community where the house is located has a beautiful, clean, and deep swimming pool. It’s close to a scenic beach, with two lovely trees that are perfect for having a picnic under. The community staff are very friendly and offer many conveniences, including helping to keep beach vendors away. The security guards at the gate are also very nice!

Villa by the Beach was all that we expected and more. The pictures matched our expectations. The space was very clean with neat bedding and towels. Having travelled with family, it was very family friendly. Absolutely loved the outdoor space for early mornings and in the afternoons. The staff were great too. Maikel was very responsive and supportive. Jason and the security guy were also very professional and helpful. We surely enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend Villa by the Beach.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Diani. The service was exceptional—special thanks to Chef Chris, Stella, Rose, Liz, and security guard Matano for going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The host was very responsive and checked in regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly. The communication was timely and reassuring throughout our stay. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Diani!

Perfect vacation home for 6 people. Bedrooms had comfortable beds and great AC! Lots of space to spread out. Nice being in the resort for the service options. Great location near the beach! Patience was very responsive if we needed anything.

Chris is a gentleman who has helped me with helpful information every time I've approached him. The house was handed over to me and kept clean every day by his assistant, Clara, a polite woman. His location in Nyali is excellent, near supermarkets, churches, downtown, etc. The compound is calm, we can hear the birds singing, and fresh air is circulating in every house room. Also important is a 24-hour security guard in the compound on 7/7. I will stay at Chris' house again next time I visit Mombasa.

We had an exceptional stay, the apartment was clean, in great location and well decorated. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Galu Salama. Anni’s property is beautiful - very peaceful and quiet, away from the touristy areas of Diani. We spent hours in the immaculately clean pool. We slept well in the rooms that were spotless and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking supplies. The housekeeper, Nancy, welcomed us with fresh fruits and made us feel right at home. The house manager, Renson, took care of all our needs - from coordinating tuktuks for transport to sourcing and serving us fresh coconuts! Our kids enjoyed asking Renson all about coconuts and the mini lesson they got about the types of coconuts and its use in local cuisine. Thank you Anni for hosting us - we hope to visit again in the future if we are in Diani again!

it was a beautiful holiday in a lovely and well furnished apartment. with a view of the ocean by day and the sound of waves by night. we really enjoyed joeys house and it was very convenient to have a restaurant next door. everyone was very friendly and we had a great and relaxing time. thanks!

David’s place was perfect for our trip! The one-bedroom apartment is super spacious and clean, with an awesome view that made mornings so relaxing. David was a great host—really friendly and always quick to help when we needed anything. The place even had Netflix, which was perfect for winding down after a long day. Honestly, if you’re looking for a cozy, well-located spot in Mombasa, this is it. Only tiny thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit slow sometimes, but not a big deal. Would 100% stay here again! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home — spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. The bedrooms were cool and comfortable thanks to the air conditioning and fans, making nights by the beach relaxing and restful. The housekeeper Sylvia and the chef truly made our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and attention to detail made the house feel like home, and by the end of the trip, they genuinely felt like part of the family. The house has everything you need, including beach towels for both the semi-private pool and the beach, which is just a few steps away. Getting around was easy — we hopped on a tuk-tuk to explore the town and visit places like Stiltz, where we even got to feed bush babies! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return in a heartbeat.

Großartiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ..Mark ist ein toller , wirklich sehr geschätzter, gewissenhafter,Hervorragender, netter zuvorkommender und vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen Gastgeber ... NOTE: Die Mitarbeitern in der Anlagen sind sehr freundlich und MEHR AUCH NICHT. Wenn es um Probleme gibt wird schwierig. Schlecht informiertes Personal / komplizierte Prozesse... Perfect studio apartment, with very close to Mombasa beach, very stable network, I was able to work without issues. cleaning comes everyday, much appreciated.

No real complaints about my stay the property was as described on pictures. Emmanuel was very responsive and eager to help when issues outside of his control such as the weather interrupted the Wi-Fi connection he was quick to get someone down to fix it & was flexible with my check-in time as well, enjoyed the property. Had all the things I needed.

Quintessential Airbnb! It felt like someone made it a comfortable home, and then shared it with you. Kitchen is complete and functional, and the Carrefour is indeed a couple of minutes away on foot, so you can actually cook stuff. If you don't want to cook, there's a good restaurant downstairs, and there are a lot of good options nearby. The beach is walking distance as well. The space feels bigger than advertised. It's quite airy, but also comes with AC and ceiling fan, so it's super comfy. Pam is a great and responsive host, and is able to connect you to any services you need that is not offered on site. The building is well lighted at all times, and the restaurant is open until late, so it feels quite safe. Place is spotless (and I saw them clean it). To top it off, it's a really good value, especially for a longer stay! I'm surprised it isn't booked more often.

Aly’s place in Nyali was awesome! Super clean, beautifully decorated, and even better than the pictures. The vibe was just right, and the location made it easy to explore. Aly was a great host—super responsive and made sure we had a smooth stay. Definitely worth booking again!

The pictures on the app are exactly the same,well maintained, neat ..It's a place worth spending your holiday...you can easily access the mall, different places in Nyali...My family loved the place...it's a to go home anytime am in Mombasa.

Das Apartment ist komplett so,wie beschrieben in der Anzeige. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Der Pool und die Liegen top (es fehlte leider die Erklärung,welche Liegen zum Apartment gehören) . Die Nachbarn (fast alles ausländische Dauermieter) legen großen Wert auf Regeln und Ruhe. Deshalb für Reisen mit Kinder nicht sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten tolle Unterkunft und toller Gastgeber.Vielen Dank

We loved staying at Wangari's, the house and neighbourhood more than exceeded our expectations. The area is peaceful and easily accessible from the road and other amenities. Would 100% recommend.
