Come stay in the peaceful quiet of the country. You're welcome to fish, hike, visit with the animals or just relax. You can sit out in a rocker with your cup of coffee and watch the deer walk by while the sunrises. Enjoy sunsets while the fish jump in the pond. Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Our guesthouse is a cozy respite tucked away from the hustle of the city, and we would love to host your restful stay! If views of deer, farm animals and horses is your thing, or if your goal is to take in the big sky, fantastic sunsets and bright starlit nights, we have it! We also have a washer and dryer on site off the screened in back porch to use at your convenience.

Dan’s Place - 14 miles to Baylor & Magnolia

3 bedroom 2 bath, 1500 sq foot cottage close to Tradinghouse Lake. The cottage was built in the late 1940's and was totally renovated in 2017. It is isolated with only one neighbor across the street and is very peaceful. It has a small pond that has a fountain, and is stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and catfish. Fishing poles and baits are provided. Small gatherings/parties are permitted. I have had several small weddings in the past.
