The grade II listed farm dates back to 1700 and offers an authentic, cosy retreat, steeped in period features and set in 6 acres of woodland and meadows. The farm offers a peaceful location grounding in nature above the sleepy village of Jackson Bridge with outstanding views across the valley and within 2 miles of Holmfirth on the edge of the Peak District.

This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.
