Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

This lovingly refurbished cottage sits in the middle of the Dutch polder landscape. With triple aspect views of fields, there is always something to see, whether it is farmers in action, cows grazing or a kestrel hovering. The area is popular with cyclists, walkers and birdwatchers, yet famous cities such as Gouda and Rotterdam are only a short car journey away. Welkom op ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud Alblas, een monumentale boerderij in de Alblasserwaard. U kunt op ‘de Hoogt’ overnachten in onze b&b. Op ons terrein staat ‘Huisje op de terp’ die we hebben omgetoverd in een prachtig huisje, waar we zelf tijdens de verbouwing van de boerderij ruim twee jaar met veel plezier in gewoond hebben. ‘ Huisje op de terp’ is een 4 pers. huisje met douche, toilet, keuken en 2 slaapkamers. Ontbijt is optioneel bij te boeken.

Studio at alpacafarm (AlpaCasa)

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek, Bloem and Saar and mini donkeys Bram and Smoky who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.

Welkom op ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud-Alblas, een monumentale boerderij in de Alblasserwaard. Een mooie plek om van de rust en de natuur te genieten. U kunt op ‘de Hoogt’ overnachten in de voormalige varkensschuur. Deze hebben we verbouwd tot een prachtig huisje, waar we zelf tijdens de verbouwing van de boerderij ruim twee jaar met veel plezier in gewoond hebben.
