Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

Larriston Coach House, for a very rural stay

Larriston Coach House is a large four-bedroomed cottage, part of a very rural 19th century farm steading on 28 acres, with 2,500 acres of hillside starting at the doorstep. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out. The skies are dark, the mobile reception is zero and the silence is deafening.

The Old Bottle Store is a cosy & quaint cottage tucked away behind our pub The Blackcock Inn at Falstone. Just a mile away from Kielder Reservoir we're a brilliant base for a stay in beautiful Northumberland. Amenities include a wood burning stove, kitchen (fridge, freezer, hob oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine), wide-screen TV, comfy sofa and armchairs, dining area, double bed, velux window in the bedroom for stargazing & en-suite bathroom with shower.

Characterful self-contained accommodation offering two bedrooms and two shower rooms in a pretty 17th century cottage. VisitScotland 4star graded. Master bedroom featuring a superking zip-link double bed (can also be a twin) and en-suite shower room. Second bedroom with a king size double bed and private shower room. This former farmer's cottage situated in Northumberland National Park has recently been totally refurbished. We also have a smaller cottage next door, which is listed separately on Airbnb, if you have a large party of guests wishing to get away from it all! About 1.5 miles from Hadrians Wall and around 4 miles from the local town of Haltwhistle which is merited with being the Centre of Britain. We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep.
