Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Excellent base to explore the Lakes, do activities or simply relax. Pets are welcome max. 2 There is also a Travel Cot and High Chair available.

Small dogs are welcome we do ask that they don't go on any of the furniture.
