Such a special place to wake up in - right on the water with snorkelling & a surf break just there. My three kids loved their bunk room and being right on the water. Heidi was amazing and endlessly helpful. If you don't want a resort in this area and appreciate good old school Hawaii - this is the place for you.

This house was in a beautiful setting with gorgeous grounds. it was very well maintained and comfortable. The house has lots of basics in the pantry and condiments. We loved watching sunset from the lanai through the trees or walking 50 ft to the Pier for a Bayside view (with dolphins often making an appearance). Excellent snorkeling at nearby Manini Beach Park (some of us jumped in at the Pier, too) and by kayak at the Cook Monument across the Bay, or at 2-Step, a 5 minute drive down the road. The AC was good but not usually necessary with great ventilation and fans. The bugs are definitely hoping for snacks, so vigilance to keep a tidy house is crucial (but this is to be expected and wasn't a problem). Dawn was very responsive to a few small problems, and when we couldn't get the dryer to work she had a neighbor offer his so we could finish in time to check out (the dryer was a smart dryer and it out smarted us). We really appreciated how Dawn responded so quickly and helpfully!

We really enjoyed our stay At Gigi's home. She was flexible with check in and quick to respond to any questions we had. Great location and view of the beach from both decks! Great restaurants and shops within walking distance and easy to get to other places. The house was spacious and well equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen, along with beach towels. It was very nice to have ceiling fans in all the rooms and additional fans if needed. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fabulous time in Kona, and Zhe & Sijie’s place was a huge part of it. It made for an amazing home away from home for our two-week stay. The home was exactly as described and as it appeared in the photos - if anything, it was even more perfect in person. Plenty of living space, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch at the house each day, and the three bedrooms and bathrooms were a perfect fit for my husband and me, our son and my dad. The elevated deck was perfect for reading in the sun or watching the sunset and then watching the stars come out. The pool is small, but a nice place to relax between activities or at the end of a busy day. The house is also in a very nice neighborhood, very secure and close to a grocery store and quite a few restaurants. Zhe and Sijie were fantastic hosts, super quick to reply to any questions we had, and proactively communicating info about check in and check out. 10/10, highly recommend!!

Had an amazing stay at Lee and Courtney's place. The house was incredible and had everything that my family of five needed (to even include tons of beach/snorkeling gear and beach towels). The house is very convenient to many great beaches and activities on the Kona side of the island. We really enjoyed the lanai and all the amazing outdoor space to include the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay at this house again if we come back to the Big Island.

Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

This place is so awesome. I visited with my parents and they are very satisfied with this place. Everything is there and we don't have to buy anything. Very clean kitchen!! We’re happy to cook and enjoy dinner. Golf view is so beautiful and it couldn't be more peaceful. I really relaxed and enjoyed everything.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as pictured and a perfect way to relax while on the Big Island. It is truly a Haven! Check-in was easy and smooth as the place is easy to find. We stayed here the last half of our stay and the in-unit laundry was a life saver. We spent a lot of our time lounging around by or in the pool. The pool was heated, so a great temperature to get in any time! The view is amazing and I spent hours just staring out. The bed was super comfortable and we had such great sleep! The in room A/C is perfect and kept us cool at night. The recommendations from the hosts were spot on- we were able to checkout some amazing local favorites. The only negative is that we do not live here full time. Within a few hours you will start imagining what life would be like if you just never left. Cannot recommend more!

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

I recently stayed at Justin’s Airbnb in Kona, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Justin was incredibly welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect island retreat. One of the highlights was the pool – it was pristine and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the island. The outdoor area was fantastic, with plenty of seating, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. The location in Kona was ideal, with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping, yet the house felt like a private oasis. We felt truly at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I highly recommend Justin’s place for anyone looking to experience the best of Kona in comfort and style!

We were looking for a place where we could enjoy the sun setting on the Pacific Ocean in the evenings. This home definitely provided that. Amazing view over a beautiful setting. The house is a very nice high dollar place, and the rental price definitely reflected that. Overall we very much enjoyed our time there.

We had the most amazing stay in Kona at Richard’s place. The house truly felt like home away from home for a week. The pool and outdoor area were fabulous with breathtaking views of the ocean. The inside was perfect for our family from the dining area to the tv area to the game area where we gathered to play some of the games Richard had on hand a few of the evenings we were there. When we go back, we definitely want to book Richard’s place again! We sure miss being there this week!

This is our second time staying at Dane’s place. If you are a fan of Kona, this is the spot to rent. Fair price, great location in the middle of everything but still feels secluded.

From the moment we arrived, this stunning beachfront house in Hawaii felt like a dream come true. Tucked away on a pristine stretch of ocean, the property offers the perfect balance of comfort and that laid-back island magic. Waking up each morning to the sound of waves was a highlight in itself. The views are simply unreal – endless ocean and vibrant sunsets. Whether you're lounging on the beach chairs, snorkeling at a nearby beach, or watching the stars from the hot tub, every moment feels like a postcard. The house is spacious, airy, and filled with natural light. I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen with spices and basic cooking necessities. Peng also has a supply of beach supplies including snorkel masks, coolers, beach chairs, umbrella, etc which came in so handy. Such a magical place I hope to come back to someday!

We loved it there, super nice hosts! Beautiful views of the ocean right from the patio. Great place to walk down Ali'i drive, and magic sands was super close.

We had a wonderful four days at Jill's Mermaid Studio. Jill was out of town but Jason and Brian helped us with our every need. We enjoyed her friendly cats and chickens that greeted us in the yard. The outside shower is really cool! We walked the path to watch the sunset each evening. Manini Beach just a couple minutes walk around the corner is maintained by local conservation group so is super clean, and has an easy spot to get in the water to snorkel. We rented a kayak from Ehu and Kai ($80 for a double ocean kayak for 5 hours) to paddle over and snorkel at the Captain Cook Monument. If you want to do this it is very easy to sign up and pay right on their website and meet them at the landing just a block from Jill's place (other direction from beach). They provide a dry bag and life vests. Rent snorkel gear from them or bring your own. You can't land the kayak at the monument so you just pull it around behind you with a rope while you snorkel which was no big deal.

This was definitely the nicest place I've stayed in. I have stayed in a lot of vacation homes, but none with the awesome ocean views this one has. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It had a luxurious feel. I highly recommend this place, and we will be back again in the future.

We housed employees here for an extended stay and had a fantastic experience. The property was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable—perfect for long-term accommodations. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. Highly recommend for any business or extended stays!

This place was outstanding and Veronika was absolutely the best. We felt so comfortable and at home staying there. Far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Close enough to get anywhere quickly. The chickens, pigs, kitties and babette the goat were our kids favorites. My wife and I loved all the comfortable lounging areas throughout the home. Also the sky at night there is beautiful and full of stars! We would absolutely come back for another stay next time we visit.
