The hot tub is available year round. Perfect for relaxing and de-stressing during your stay. The pool is open May 1 ~ Oct 1. You can stay in and binge watch movies from our collection of DVD's or your Apple TV app favorites on the 110 inch screen in the theater room. Please browse through our photos & read the descriptions under them. You’ll love our home because we are close to downtown Louisville & Jeffersonville but tucked away enough for a peaceful, relaxing stay. No early check ins allowed.

Parkside Retreat

Situated off of a parkway with mature trees lining the street, this parkside retreat is close to most everything. We are a short drive to Churchill Downs, Downtown, the Airport. Our home sits on one of the most beautiful streets in the entire neighborhood. We are 7 houses from Iroquois Park. It is terrific for walking, hiking, or just having a picnic. We have a privacy fence with a jacuzi tub on the deck. Many updates make this home the perfect choice to relax after a day of fun activities

Butchertown’s Historic Shantyboathouse

Welcome to the Shantyboathouse! Featured twice in the Courier-Journal, this property is uniquely one-of-kind and boasts a story even the Louisville Landmarks Commission couldn’t deny; which is why they awarded the property an historical plaque in 2019! The original newspaper article from 1976, the previous owners stated “The neighborhood legend about this house is that it just floated up the river in the ‘37 flood and somebody just built a foundation under it! They call it ‘the shanty boat’!
