The town offers a range of restaurants, pubs, independent shops, nature reserve and North Dorset trail way. A number of eateries deliver meals directly to the gate. The space will suit both individuals & couples looking for a quiet space in which to relax and unwind.

Ower Farm Yurt located on a beautiful rural farm overlooking Poole Harbour on The Isle of Purbeck Dorset. The Yurt has been specially designed by a local Yurt maker and is made of highest quality materials. Light, spacious and airy with a domed roof allowing natural light in and positioned in a cool area of this beautiful farm surrounded by animals and nature. Guests can order a Full English breakfast and have it delivered unlimited fresh coffee/tea pot at an additional cost of £15.00 pp

Gazing from the shepherds hut or private decking area at stunning sunsets over the lake and the abundance of birds and wildlife you probably will not want to leave these idyllic natural surroundings. It is only 1 mile from the pretty riverside town of Wareham where you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the eateries or relax at the rivers edge.

Self-contained bedroom, a sitting room and shower room. Your suite of rooms is separate from the house with its own entrance. The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Private Garden Glamping Retreat- Firepit & Massage

The rustic glamping hut (double or twin) is nestling in the garden of this charming Georgian house in a tranquil Dorset village. Within a couple of steps is the bathroom hut with shower & toilet. Then there is the ‘firehut’, with a raised firepit, basic cooking equipment, fridge, microwave, toaster and mini stove. The walled garden is private for yourselves to enjoy, with an additional firepit for those starry nights. Additional two double bedrooms in main house available for booking.

Our light bright garden view annexe is ideally situated for enjoying all that the Jurassic coastline has to offer. The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

Fall asleep to the sound of waves on shingle in this stunning, hand-crafted oak shepherd’s hut. In winter the Hut is cosy with double glazing, a wood burner plus radiator. In summer relax on the deck to enjoy glorious views of Lyme Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Nestling in my garden, Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path are 30 seconds away down a private path. Watch magnificent sunsets over the bay and enjoy stargazing in our dark skies.
