A family operated well-equipped 3-bedroom home in the heart of Bowmore, Islay. Ideally located near shops, restaurants, the famous Bowmore Distillery, and the picturesque harbour, it offers convenience and comfort. Perfect for forgetting life's stresses and enjoying holiday getaways. Easy access to stunning beaches, whisky trails, and all the island has to offer. We have two garden spaces, a small side garden at the house and a large green 20 secs walk from the rear of the house (see images)

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay. The hills, sea and moorland surrounding the farm are filled with wildlife and flora.
