Wonderful living accommodation with lots of space available. Beds are extremely comfortable.

Great place to stay with lots of brilliant bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was a little tricky, one night we had free parking and the next day the space was taken and we had to pay for local parking (which was very easy). This place was perfect for our 2 night stay in Takayama.

This house is pretty large and fits quite well for family travel -- either by car or train. It is easy to find the house and the host provided very detailed guidance about how to use the facilities. The house looks old by the looking outside but inside it is well maintained and clean. The rooms may be a little bit cold, but they are equipped with air conditioners in different rooms so there won't be a problem. In a word I think this is a good place to stay -- considering for holidays the hotel price in Toyama is crazy.

パンと飲み物の朝食があり、タオルなども毎日交換、ゴミも回収してくださったのが、大変良かった。部屋はエアコン以外にガス暖房があり、年末年始でも暖かい。 TVはないが、大きめモニターと、パソコンもありネットニュースやTVer等で十分。 一階はダイニングキッチンと広い和室　1人がゆったり寝られる和室　2階は2人用寝室　３人用寝室がある様子。マットレスタイプなのでベットのような使い勝手で楽ちん。 滞在中能登地震が起こった。海抜５メートルで土地勘がないので山側の方に避難した。その際オーナーとの連絡はすぐに取れた。 隣の料亭におせちをお願いしたのも良かった。（予約締め切りかなり早めだと思う） それなりに料理をするなら、ある程度は持参したほうが良い。当方持ち込みとして、卓上IHコンロ　すき焼き鍋　年越しそばを茹でる鍋　おわん　焼き肉プレート等を持ちこんだ。

I stayed for two nights with one friend and her dog. It was easy to find; the host included a photo of which streets to take to get to the house. The dog had to stay in the doma, but it was spacious and well maintained. We loved the unique charm the house held. 蒼大 was an excellent host who gave us lots of recommendations and was very responsive. The house was very spacious and clean. The tatami rooms were fantastic and well-kept. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful; very beautiful to walk around during the day. We went to 山中温泉 to hike the mountain trails and enjoy the public onsen; we even met a local lacquerware maker. We would love to stay again with a bigger group!

We really enjoyed the house itself, as it was so very comfortable and perfectly located, but also the local restaurants. There is a great yakitori place called Iburu very close to the house, which I highly recommend. It was a little pricey but some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever tasted. Also, a new coffee shop called Pinecone was a really nice discovery. They don’t open till noon, but the young owner is a fluent English speaker who loves to chat with the customers. He also sells a selection of craft beers (in cans) from around Japan. We bought those to take home and enjoyed drinking them at the house in the evening. A lovely 125 year old Japanese sweet shop is close by, too. And the hot springs! Finally, on our way home back to Shiga, we stopped at a little place called Ippei Sushi. The best sushi I’ve ever had. ¥2,200 for a lunch set fit for a king. You should get there before 11! All in all it was a spectacular holiday. We look forward to going again next year.

房间宽敞干净整洁，非常适合我们这样的多人数团队。高山站前的古民居景区步行可至，周围吃饭采购食材的地方也都很充足，非常方便。和管理员的沟通也很顺畅，是值得推荐的住宿。

Honestly, this has been our favourite place during our whole trip. We genuinely felt sad that we didn't stay longer in Takayama, mainly because of this place. It's extremely spacious and comfortable. We loved all the descriptions, helpful notes and thoughtful details throughout the apartment. Syuji & Sachi truly made us feel at home and took great care of us. If you plan to visit Takayama, make sure to stay longer than you planned; you won't regret it!

We had a great stay at this house. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the old town and easy to drive out of town for hiking daytrips. The walk from the parking spot to the house was much shorter and easier than we expected, it was no problem for us. The house was clean and had plenty of space. We would be happy to stay here again.

Such a very pleasant stay at the Fujita House ! It's a magnificent ancestral home, a rare gem, and we really felt good here. Kon San is truly kind and took great care of us. It was a real pleasure to meet him and show us his beautiful region. Thank you so much ! Alexandra & William

Our stay at this Airbnb was impeccable! The location was simply wonderful, perfect for exploring the city and within walking distance of the bus terminal to the more distant tourist attractions. The apartment was extremely clean and organized, and we were very impressed with the host’s attention to detail in English – a super thoughtful touch for someone who is not from Japan! We arrived to find everything tidy and ready for us to relax. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed, with modern equipment and impeccable organization. We also loved the disposable items that were provided, a common courtesy in Japan. Would give it more stars if it was possible. Highly recommended.

the appartment was very nice. comfortable beds, we first booked this because we wanted a futon experience but there where mattresses on the ground, after all probably very happy with the mattresses. it is very near the station. We rented a car and could park this in front of the building. the appartment was spotless and a very nice host! Oh and the shower is amazing with a hard pressure

It was a great place for a small group of families and friends. Host was very responsive.

Aya’s place in Takayama is at an excellent location, close walking distance to all sights, walking streets and restaurants in Old Town. The rooms located on 2 floors are spacious, clean and comfortable . The access to upper floor rooms is through an inside steep staircase (not suitable for the very elderly but okay for others). The WiFi works well and there is a parking spot for one small car. It was very easy to communicate with Aya and her responses were fast. We would highly recommend this place .
