We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

The cottage was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and going out on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. We would definitely rent here again.

The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. Our stay at Chris’s lake house was enjoyable. Jacuzzi and kayaks were a nice bonus. Chris was very responsive and flexible. Our stay was memorable. Beautiful view of the lake.

Jennifer & Scott are fantastic! We had a very enjoy,relaxing stay! went here for my 40th and had a really fun weekend of fishing, right in the backyard! with a very relaxing and big hot tub right outside of the master bedroom (outside), the privacy was fantastic & they really respect and cater to your wants and needs during your stay! the whole house smells amazing and is very clean!! all in all, my husband,myself & friends would highly recommend this beautiful little home with a nice view & privacy.

My family stayed the weekend my son graduated from Adrian College. It was only a 30 min drive from the college, easy to get to as well. The cottage had plenty of room and seating and we had everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable. The firepit was great to have and we loved the hot tub. We would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this amazing home! It was a great long weekend get away for our family. The home was exactly like the pictured and Shelly’s communication was fantastic. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and playing ping pong. The deer walking through the snow and the beautiful surroundings made for a very relaxing weekend! We would love to come back in warmer weather and experience this home in other seasons. Highly recommend!

Beautiful lake front cottage. Great view, really good fishing, big yard with things to do with our grandkids. The hosts were super friendly, made our stay stress free! Highly recommend!

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

Home was very cozy and also inviting. Everything was clean and linens were provided for all quests. I will be staying again for sure. The goats were a bonus ~ Very cute!

A Wonderful Experience at Cozy Hosting! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Hosting, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property is located right on the water, offering great views that made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens, making us feel right at home. I loved spending our mornings with coffee on the deck, soaking in the beautiful scenery. The water was clear, and the deck was even better than described. My wife and kids all felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Absolute fantastic little cottage for a little get away.

We have stayed at the Gas Lantern for 3 times I think. We love staying there because it feels like living at home. Our son and family live in Sylvania and we love being close to him and his family, close to St Joseph’s church and the great shops in downtown. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay as well as all the comforts of home! Thank you!

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

The Waterloo Cottage is a wonderful getaway for family! We enjoyed the quaint cottage and the beautiful lake. The fire pit and the grill added to the charm and the kayaking made for a fun experience. The hosts, Paul & Renee were excellent hosts, kind and thoughtful and made our stay memorable. Thank you!

We stayed with our two children (1 and 3) for three months during some of our home renovations. It is super family friendly which is why we chose it! It was amazing to have a full size crib for our 1 year old, baby gates available and lots of toys/nugget couch for the kids to enjoy. I appreciated that the home felt lived in instead of brand new which meant I didn’t have to constantly worry about every move my kids made. We were comfortable here and the view was beautiful even though it was winter/early spring. Lindsey was great, always very responsive and answering any questions we had.

Julie's place was perfect for a fall break getaway with my husband. The cottage was well furnished, super clean, and very comfortable. I hadn't realized from the photos just how close the lake is to the house! We spent a lot of time sitting out on the back porch enjoying the amazing view of the lake. We also appreciated the proximity to Ann Arbor for restaurants and all of the wonderful parks in the area for biking and walking. We'd definitely go back!
