This "farmhouse" style cottage is typical of homestead homes in the area. This is a modest historic home that began as a school house. Kadoka is a safe, quiet ranching community on the edge of the Badlands and I90. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from the Black Hills & Rapid City. This is a small community ( pop700 ). Late in the day or weekends can be very sleepy, limited amenities, but no traffic! Safe for solo.

This is a stand alone property with open great room including living room area, dining area, fully furnished kitchen/laundry. There are three bedrooms, 2 baths, AC, TV, outdoor grill, firepit, and large open front porch for relaxing. It is surrounded by a generous fenced yard. Breakfasts, with 24 hour notice, ($$) are available a mile down the road at the B & B.

The 4-bedroom 2 bath bunkhouse sits high atop our butte overlooking the Badlands where it's peaceful, private, quiet and has spectacular views in all directions. This listing is for the entire Bunkhouse (sleeping up to 8) however we do rent these rooms individually under the listing "Badlands Bunks".

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

This dog-friendly cabin suite accommodates up to 2 dogs (45 lbs max each). It features a king bed in a separate room, a queen bed, and a pull-out sleeper chair in the living area, accommodating 5 guests. One bin features a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed, while the connected bin offers a second bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Also a futon and 2 single fold out beds. Includes a bathroom with shower, coffee bar, TV, and modern amenities. Relax outdoors in a seating binzebo with a fire pit and stunning views, or enjoy our private lake with seating and complimentary kayaks.

The Badlands Cedar Getaway

Relax with the whole family in this newly built ranch style home. This getaway has no TV or WIFI. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom with laundry, full kitchen and living room. All tastefully decorated in western theme. Come for a couple of nights or relax for a week! There is a Subway restaurant and two small cafes in town for the hungry or take a picnic to the Badlands after shopping at the local grocery store or Dollar General. All businesses close fairly early.

Lena’s house

Located a short drive west of Interior and just 6 miles from the headquarters of Badlands National Park, this 1950’s house sits on a working cattle ranch. It is a peaceful location that provides the opportunity to be away from the noise of fellow travelers while still being very close to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and also an easy drive to Wall and Rapid City. This house also provides great views of the Prarie and the wide open sky that accompanys it!
