Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). The Garden Room, Warblers, Kingston Road, Lewes

The Garden Room is bright and spacious with lovely views to the south across the Lewes Brooks. There is a well equipped kitchen area, and you have your own front door. Coffee, tea, milk and some breakfast provisions will be waiting for you for your first morning. We are close to Lewes but with open fields nearby. It is a ten minute walk to a pub, for local beer and food. There is space nearby for a small car to park; larger vehicles can park about 20m from our driveway, on the Kingston Road.

The Tin Cabin

"The Tin Cabin" is a beautiful space set in a peaceful location nestled at the foot of the South Downs, in the quiet Hamlet of Swanborough. It was lovingly built from scratch in the garden of our farmhouse in 2020. It provides the perfect spot to rest and relax after a day exploring the historic county town of Lewes (just a 10 minute drive away) or walking/cycling the South Downs Way. The Juggs, a traditional local pub is in the neighbouring village of Kingston, just a 15 minute walk.

The Stables Lewes

The Stables is a charming two bedroom cottage in walking distance of historic Lewes and a handy pub. It's two double bedrooms are both ensuite and one can be changed to provide twin beds. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, dishwasher and washer dryer. The Stables has a private patio and across the lane, the South Downs stretches to Glyndebourne. We always provide refreshments for your arrival, and can add a breakfast hamper for an extra charge.

Within easy reach of the coast, the towns of Lewes, Brighton and Eastbourne, Glyndebourne Opera House, Michelham Priory, and many other places of historic interest.

A self-contained 2-bedroom flat , semi-detached to our home with separate access on the idyllic Kingston Ridge . Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive). Brighton is 8 miles down the road, with a regular bus service. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people but has a maximum capacity of 8 (sofa bed). N.B. We have a very friendly dog.
