Located on quiet Pentz Road, on the beautiful South Shore. Two minutes from famous LaHave Bakery, enjoy a morning coffee, a harty lunch or fresh baked treat. Nearby historic LaHave ferry for a 20 minute drive to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 15 minutes to Nova Scotia’s best white sand beaches, Risser’s, Crescent, & Green Bay.

The Shore Shack

Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Warm and welcoming, this cottage boasts modern conveniences while retaining the beachy charm of a little hideaway cottage, and is ideal for small families, a couple (or two), or solo adventurers. Enjoy the fire pit next to our babbling brook, or take a short drive to White Point Beach Resort for surfing or golf, beautiful Carters beach, or the Keji Seaside Adjunct for a scenic hike and seal watching.

Just 10 minutes from the town of Shelburne ( historic loyalist settlement)/and close to many white sand beaches.The cottage is fronted by Pierce’s Beach, a usable rock sand beach, boasting at times some spectacular waves. Fronted by ever changing traffic on Shelburne Harbour. Even inclement weather presents for striking photo ops.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Nestled privately off the road, the cabin offers beautiful views of the Historic Medway River in a tranquil nature setting. Watch the tide come in and out from the large deck, or venture out into the many trails nearby on the electric bikes. Burns Cove cottage is a spacious, fully equipped vacation home. The waterfront location makes it a prime spot to relax, view nature. It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.

Surrounded by 4000 square feet of deck and equipped with a large heated pool and a hot tub and a private panoramic dome sauna, this peaceful secluded retreat is the perfect base to explore the best beaches in Nova Scotia or simply get away from it all.Please note that the heated pool is only operational from mid October l -to mid November.
