Now, a quiet neighborhood ideal for bicyclist, hunters, fishing enthusiast and resting after countless adventures here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Come and relax in this cozy 2 bedroom home situated just off the main highway in Baraga, MI. The kitchen is equipped with oven/stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, assorted pots and pans, mixing bowls, measuring spoons and cups, flatware, cups, mugs, plates and bowls. In the living room sit and enjoy the Wifi or take advantage of the provided Netflix. On a nice evening enjoy some time around the backyard fire pit or grill out on the newly built back deck.

Yellow Dog Yurt - Peace and Quiet near Marquette

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking

The Beach House

Beautiful year round beach house. This tiny house is located on Second Sand Beach. Guests will enjoy an all sand beach on Lake Superior. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.

The Blue Boathouse Lake Michigamme

Enjoy a serene lake house experience on one of the Upper Peninsula’s largest inland lakes. Lake Michigamme is 4300 acres of water. Fish off the dock, watch the sunset, or lounge on one of several deck spaces. Full kitchen and grill available to fry up your catch! Wildlife neighbors include - deer, flying squirrels, bear, moose, coyotes, chipmunks, adorable backyard birds & eagles. 35 miles from Marquette Please note this is our home.

Green Garden Depot

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is newly built home designed to resemble a train depot on the outside and made to be a comfortable and relaxing space inside. There is a boxcar and a caboose on the property that are being rehabbed and will eventually be available to rent on this property also. It is approximately a 15 minute drive to downtown Marquette. Due to allergies this a no pet listing.

Hunters Brook Hideaway

Secluded cabin in a beautiful setting immediately adjacent to Hunters Brook Waterfall and the Escanaba River. This is a place for total relaxation and exploration. It offers excellent fly or spin cast fishing in a shale bottom river. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy nature at it’s best. This is a “must experience” type of getaway! There is no WiFi or TV. Cell service is spotty. It’s a great place to unplug.

Silver River Cozy Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Silver River. A cozy log cabin beautifully hand crafted by the owner himself. There is one queen size bed along with a futon that folds out into a twin bed and a convertible couch which also folds down into a twin bed. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, 4 wheeling, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, hunting and much more!

River Cabin

A compliment to our Lodge, the River Cabin is located on the same property as the Lodge along the Michigamme River. The Cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath and features an outdoor firepit along with a river pier and a private dock and sauna on Juncob Lake.
