My 90-year-old father and I stayed at Andy’s place for a night on our way to visit family. We were so impressed with this space! First off, the space is huge and could easily accommodate 6 or 8 people, possibly more. I can’t remember how many they recommend it for. (I booked last minute and needed 2 bedrooms, which is how we ended up with this large space for just my dad and me.) Secondly, it is immaculately clean. Beyond that, the furniture and beds are very comfortable, the kitchen and dining room are large, communication with our hosts was very timely and helpful, the area feels safe and is quiet, and it’s close to a couple of restaurants and a grocery store. I have nothing negative to say and would definitely stay here again if I find myself near Birmingham. I highly recommend it!

Tania was a great host. Very accommodating and fast with messages and communications. Her house was also clean with plenty amenities.

This house is absolutely magazine worthy! We reserved the house for 4 couples over our wedding weekend in Birmingham. It was the perfect place to have everyone together for the weekend, lots of common areas, the porch is amazing, and plenty of privacy when needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. My son was competing in the NJROTC Orienteering National Championship at nearby Oak Mountain State Park. David's place was close to everything, but somehow felt miles away. David came to greet us after we arrived. He was attentive and responsive to our needs and concerns. There was a line of powerful storms coming across the southern half of the US during our stay, which was causing tornadoes. He called to let us know where storm shelters in the area were if needed. Fortunately for all they were not necessary. The cabin had everything we needed and, as advertised, nothing we didn't. No tv, no internet. It was nice to disconnect from everything for a bit. At one point the neighbor's dog "Lizard" came and sat with me on the porch for a bit. She got some sausages for her trouble. David made the checkout process extremely simple. My wife and I would certainly stay again if ever in the area. Thank you allowing us to stay David, we appreciate it.

We walked into Erin’s place after a long drive and immediately felt comfortable. The living area had attractive and comfortable furniture. At night we would curl up on the couch and enjoy watching television. I loved how the TV logged us out of our streaming apps at the time of our departure. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook a few meals during the week. Erin had everything labeled and so organized. The Keurig was well used by us. In addition to being very functional it was also beautiful. The bathroom was very clean and so nice looking. We loved the shower! The amenities were appreciated. The bedroom was cozy, comfortable, and very quiet. It was equipped with an iron, and ironing board, Having a washer and dryer was an added plus. All in all Erin was a wonderful host with a safe, comfortable place in a great location. She was a quick respondent and so helpful when I had a scheduling problem. We hope to stay there again.

The stay couldn't have been more perfect. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go, and the room couldn't have been more perfect. My wife absolutely adored the living area, and we were able to enjoy home cooked meals, which is rather a luxury for us while traveling. I would absolutely stay here again, and I would 100% recommend this place to all of my friends should they ever get into Birmingham for a stay.

Joanna's place was as described. Close to the zoo and other attractions. Also only 10 minutes outside the city. Joanna was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for hosting us.

House was super cute and clean. Plenty of space for us and our dogs. We felt comfortable during our time there. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. We look forward to our next stay here!

I had a wonderful stay at Sara's place. She was incredibly accommodating with my last-minute booking, provided detailed check-in instructions, and regularly checked in to make my stay pleasant. The home was cozy and well-lit, situated in a safe neighborhood just a short drive from downtown. Everything was spotlessly clean with all the essential amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This is a large, lovely house built in 1914 featuring beautiful wooden trim everywhere. The location is great. It's walkable to restaurants and near the edge of a safe residential neighborhood. Those restaurants have music at night and you can hear them. The central air is inadequate to cool the upstairs bedrooms to a nice sleeping temperature in the Alabama heat, but the managers have added portable air conditioners in every bedroom. The units are loud and have bright control panels; to sleep, I covered the control panel lights and dealt with the noise; other family members turned off their units. The 4 bedrooms are spacious. Sheets were microfiber. Linens were all clean and bright. There were no dressers. C/S was excellent. Aside from the building itself, this is not one of those places with a luxe visual vibe; art was cheap and crooked and furnishings were sparse, neat and practical. The house had what we needed. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but it was very nice and we'd go again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Here in Birmingham for a family wedding, we needed room for 6 and the Patriot house worked out great. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with two huge walk-in showers. Kitchen was very clean and the living area very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, especially at night, which we liked. Josh was a very responsive host. I would highly recommend the Patriot House for anyone wishing to stay in Bham, especially if you have things to do with UAB or downtown.

We found this place on short notice. Same day rental. It was very clean. We will definitely be back again. We enjoyed the seclusion, the privacy, and quiet. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, and feeding the ducks. The relaxing view of the front porch and the scenery was beautiful. Mark was a great host! We highly recommend this place!

Spacious, clean, and cozy house — we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described. A special highlight was the excellent water pressure in the shower, which is rare to find in the U.S.

Front porch is super cute, and it was the perfect size for our family of four. When we locked ourselves out one night, the host was extremely responsive. It was close to 9 pm, and he messaged back immediately with a solution. Overall, a cute house and a good experience. We would book again!

The house was very clean and was what we needed for our long weekend. We weren't at the home much during the day as we were visiting at our daughters home or out and about in Birmingham. The road noise from the highway behind the house could be loud at times in the evenings however once asleep it didn't bother us. The host was friendly and checked in occasionally to make sure everything was ok.

This spot overlooks the golf course, the neighbors are friendly, and it’s a great area to take your dogs on a walk. Kim was flexible with the check-in time and allowed us to check-in early, which is super helpful when traveling with dogs. Frenchies are so dramatic. Thank you Kim!

I appreciate the host for providing us with a great option/deal at the last minute. My parents came into town for the holiday, this place was perfect for our large group. The goal was for everyone to spend time and enjoy each others' company under one roof. There was plenty of space! We were able to enjoy ourselves with no issues. The check in and out process was easy! The host checked in on us to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. I appreciate the great service! Thanks again.
